Tyra Banks relives President Barack Obama’s Inauguration celebration Thursday on the set of her show — it’s tapped in New York City– with cardboard cutouts of the new first family. The episode will focus on the talk-show host’s inaugural experience and will air on Jan. 29th.

Beyonce, MJB, Stevie Wonder to perform in D.C.

Some of the biggest names in music will be in Washington D.C. as part of Barack Obama’s inauguration.

Beyoncé, Stevie Wonder, Mary J. Blige and will.i.am are amongst a diverse lineup of musicians who will perform at Obama’s Jan. 18 Welcome Concert on the National Mall. Bono, Josh Groban, Garth Brooks, John Mellencamp and Shakira are also apart of the concert.

Queen Latifah, Denzel Washington, Jamie Foxx and Martin Luther King III will read historic passages at the free concert, which also will be televised on HBO starting at 2 p.m. ET.

J. Hud Won’t Sing In D.C.

Jennifer Hudson says she’s not on tap to sing at any inauguration festivites.

The New York Post reported last week that the Oscar winner would be in D.C. performing, but a rep for her says that is untrue.

No Oprah Soiree In DC

Despite tons of rumors, talk show maven Oprah Winfrey won’t be hosting an inaugural party for President-elect Barack Obama.

A Harpo spokesperson confirms that Winfrey won’t be sponsoring a party when she hits the road later this month for the inauguration.

“Everybody’s calling me about a party. I’m like, ‘Isn’t somebody else having a party?’…I don’t know about the party thing yet…There is extreme party confusion,” Oprah said. “I’m trying to get to the bottom of it myself!”

Party Like A President-Elect

According to the Associated Press, President-elect Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, will twirl their way through 10 official inaugural balls on Jan. 20.

The Presidential Inaugural Committee said that the Obamas would attend 10 official balls, one more than President George W. Bush and Laura Bush attended in 2005.
