In a new interview with Life & Style magazine, reality star turned WWE wrestler, David Otunga reveals that he and Jennifer Hudson are ready to get married.

He told the magazine:

“We’ve picked a date. And Jennifer has chosen her dress, but she won’t tell me about that, obviously.”

As for the rings, they have their minds made up.

He added:

“We know who we want to design them – Neil Lane, he made our engagement rings. And he’s a personal friend as well.”

As for the role their son will play in the wedding, he added, “I want my son and I to wear matching custom tuxedos.”

And if he has his wish, he might even get Jennifer herself to sing.

He told Life & Style:

“It would be great if any of the former American Idols sang at the wedding. And it would be wonderful to have Jennifer sing — I’d love that.”

The two got engaged in fall 2008.

Congratulations to the happy couple on getting one step closer to marriage.

David Otunga’s pro wrestling dreams seem to finally be coming to fruition.

The man formally introduced to us as “Punk” and now fiancé to Jennifer Hudson will make his pro wrestling debut next Tuesday on Syfy.

Otunga will be a part of the 8-member rookie cast of the WWE’s NXT TV show.

I wonder how long it will be before J.Hud and David Jr. show up ringside to support their guy.

Very sad news on the first day of New York Fashion week:  British designer Alexander “Lee” McQueen, was found dead in his London home this morning.

According to reports McQueen committed suicide, it is believed that he hung himself.   The designer’s death comes just days after his mother passed away. His contemporary line McQ, was scheduled to be shown at New York Fashion Week today, but the presentation was canceled. McQueen’s Paris collection was scheduled to be shown on March 9th.

Extreemly tragic news for such a talented and young person. Alexander McQueen was truly one of the world’s top fashion designers and you’d be hard pressed to find a red carpet where at least one celebrity wasn’t wearing one of his innovative dresses, shoes or other clothing staples. His fashionista following includes a long list of celebrities including Beyonce, Rihanna, Ciara, Janet Jackson, Jennifer Hudson, Amerie, Estelle, Mary J. Blige and even First Lady Michelle Obama.  Below we take a look back at some of these celebs rocking Alexander McQueen.

Just when you thought the Tiger Woods saga was starting to die down a little Vanity Fair revived it again sparking controversy with their February 2010 cover featuring the mega golfer with an accompanying story titled “Tiger in the Rough.”

My how things change! Normally we see images of this man, the richest athlete in the world, smiling mid swing in his Nike shirt on a golf course, but now that his skeletons have stumbled out of the closet (literally) Vanity Fair decided to show a more menacing image of Tiger all scowling and pumping iron, naked save for a skull cap. He almost looks like he wants to scream “Thug Life” which makes me laugh because come on….it’s Tiger Woods.

Tiger definitely got himself into some mess but last time I checked, cheating on your wife does not a thug make. So why is Tiger all of the sudden looking more like a convict during free time at Rikers rather than the “Carlton Banks” type of images that have been pushed until now?

“Tiger is an intensely competitive athlete – and quite serious about his sport,” photographer Annie Leibovitz said on the magazine’s website. “I wanted to reveal that in these photos. And to show his incredible focus and dedication.“  Riiiiight. So cashing in during the middle of the scandal had nothing to do with the choice? Get real! The pictures weren’t even shot this year, they’re outtakes from an old shoot done in 2006. Doesn’t seem like much of a coincidence that they’re seeing the light of day now.

This is the same photographer that shot Jennifer Hudson and LeBron James for separate covers of Vogue magazine which were also met with distaste and criticism on the portrayal of Black entertainers.

You can expect even more pictures of Tiger from the shoot that spawned this image when Vanity Fair hits news stands world wide on January 12th. In meantime, what do you think about this cover?

It seems like there’s a whole lot of loving happening over at the home of Jennifer Hudson.

The Oscar winner and “Dreamgirl” gave birth to her first son with fiancé David Otunga (or Punk, if you watch VH1) earlier this year and it’s now being reported that she’s already knocked up again.

A friend told Star magazine:

“Jennifer was in total shock when she found out she was having another baby. She had wanted some space between the kids’ ages.(But) she and David love kids. It’s another thing for them to celebrate during the holidays.”

If true this would mean that the future Mrs. Otunga is pregnant only four months after giving birth to her baby, David Jr.

Hey, hey, someone’s getting it in.

If true, congrats to them. If not, uh, can’t wait to see your next movie, J.Hud?

Usher and Tameka Foster seem intent on out bashing each other!  TMZ just reported that the singer recently called the police accusing his ex-wife (well, almost, he still hasn’t signed the papers) of sneaking onto his property and scratching up one of his cars. Police investigated the call but Tameka was nowhere to be found when they arrived.  They later interviewed both Tameka and Usher about the incident but found that there was not enough evidence to support his claims. Two days later Usher called the cops again! The second time he said Tameka was on his property and refused to leave but again, when cops came out to the house she wasn’t on the scene.

Now Tameka might be sneaking around at night causing Usher all that strife, but her people told TMZ the whole story is untrue. “This is just another attempt to disparage Tameka. It’s simply an angry ploy that has no merit. Tameka’s own truck was scratched but it’s not clear how. The truck is registered in her name, it’s not even Usher’s car. Why would she vandalize her own vehicle?”

This is turning into a mess! Once upon a time they were trying to prove that they were so in love and that it really was going to last….

J-Hud’s New Man

The world got a glimpse of Jennifer Hudson and David Otunga’s little man, David Jr. this week. After keeping her pregnancy hush-hush, Jennifer sat down with People magazine for the cover story of their October 15th issue  and opened up on what it’s like to be a new mom. “He has a lot of personality, like David. He’s always been a good sleeper. His favorite time to smile now is diaper changes. Or when he spits up on you – he just cracks up like he thinks it’s the funniest thing,” she said. How precious!

Cased Dismissed
Not everybody hates Chris! A judge just dismissed a $5million dollar lawsuit that Chris Rock was slapped with by a woman claimed that he stole her idea for his new documentary Good Hair. Regina Kimbell claimed she showed her documentary My Nappy Roots to Rock back in 2007 and was shocked to later find that he was coming out with his own hair documentary. In the lawsuit, Kimbell lists a dozen similarities saying both movies explore the cultural significance of black hairstyles and feature interviews with celebrities, among other things.

In addition to asking for the monetary settlement Kimbell also tried to block production of Rock’s movie, but a judge wasn’t buying any of it. Rock has been cleared of all allegations and Good Hair will be released in theaters today.

It’s a boy! Academy Award winning singer Jennifer Hudson welcomed her first child yesterday night. According to Hollywood Reporter’s Showbiz411 blog:  ”His name is David Daniel Otunga, Jr., named for his father and Hudson’s fianceé. Hudson tells me he weighed in at seven pounds, 14 ounces. And Jennifer and David, Sr., by the way, did not know the sex of the baby in advance. They bought blue and pink clothes, just in case!”

The couple is said to be in a secret location laying low from paparazzi. Congrats to the new parents! 

Meanwhile, here we go again with baby rumors. This time the chatter is that Amber Rose might be pregnant. Media Takeout reports that an “insider” said Kanye’s girlfriend “suddenly and abruptly given up smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol,” even going so far as to refuse to allow smokers anywhere near her. The “insider” stressed: “she usually never turns down a drink – so something must be up. And to all of a sudden give up cigarettes too … come on you do the math.”

Ehh, maybe she’s just scaling back on the party life. Does that mean she’s pregnant? I’m not sure I’m convinced.  

Amber did sleepwork her way up to that recent Ford Agency modeling contract.  I’d find it hard to believe that she’s planning on throwing that career for a Yeezy W. baby.  On the other hand babies with entertainers do mean 18 years of hefty paychecks (just ask Kelis) so I wouldn’t be entirely surprised if this turned out to be true.

If you thought Punk David Otunga was just going to sit in Jennifer Hudson’s living room and do push ups all day you are mistaken.

Not only does David work, he bodyslams.

So, I have no clue where he got the name Dawson Alexander from, but hey, I guess he wanted to avoid jokes like, “So what ‘chu you gonna do when Punk-a-Mania runs wild on you.”

He’s no Jake “The Snake” Roberts, but I suppose he has potential.

Ok, I’m about tired of celebrities adamantly denying rumors that we knew were true from jump!

The latest in celeb denials, of course, came from Usher and Tameka Raymond about their marital problems.

Now back in May when rumors surfaced of a separation, Usher was all too pressed to lash out and shoot down the allegations.  That month he went on the Ellen DeGeneres Show and waxed poetic about his wife saying: “She’s built up … the foundation of who I am. I want to see more men standing with their women.”  His manager Benny Medina also insisted reports that the couple was splitting were, “100 percent not true.”

Even Tameka laughed off the rumors and went as far as going toe to toe with bloggers who questioned the relationship. Now a mere month later the divorce papers have been filed and today, Tameka sang a different tune on Twitter:

“@TamekaRaymond: Afternoon. Today is beautiful, there’s a black dog barking outside, I JUST realized that I’d rather have 5 sons over 1 dog. Sorry.”

(Side Note: how long do you think it will take for her to change her Twitter name to “TamekaFoster”?)

Now I understand celebrities deserve their privacy on these personal issues, but PSA: You don’t have to lie to kick it!

What’s the point of working overtime with your publicist to deny a pregnancy (um, like Jennifer Hudson’s reps until her friend outted the news), a marriage (Jay-Z and Beyonce), a relationship (Chris Brown and Rihanna) when we’ll definitely see the baby bump, marriage certificate (or divorce papers!), or  picutres of you and the person that you swear up and down you’re “just friends, like brother and sister” with,  tonguing each other down on a beach?

Isn’t it just so much easier to say ”no comment”?
