BET’s own Frankie walked the red carpet of the 2009 BET Hip Hop Awards Saturday night rocking a new set of platinum fronts.

During a red carpet interview, she talked about the stores she frequents and then sent a message to her daughter, Keyshia Cole, saying, “Shout out to Keyshia. She’s the one with all the money. I’mma need her to give me a loan.”

What recession?

Everything seemed cool until Frankie was asked if she’s having money problems.

It’s sweet to see her thank her daughter for all that she’s done for her despite their past troubles.

Man down! We have a code 10 situation! Keyshia Cole has joined the likes of Cassie, La La Vasquez and Raven Symone in the half-baldie club. (Guess she needed some attention after her mom and sis are grabbing it all recently on the Frankie & Neffie show?)

Now don’t get me wrong, I think Keyshia’s version with the Kool-Aid red stars is the best version of the hair style so far (and points for at least trying to be a little different with this fad) but is this seriously going to be the next big trend in celebrity hair? I can’t!

Folks try so hard to look different that they still all end up looking the same. Sigh. I wonder who’s going to be next?

It’s going to be interesting to see these chicks in a couple months when this mess starts growing out (we’ll be back to the tracks for sure).

What could those two have been fighting about? Some young man to put their Mrs. Robinson game on?

Apparently, Chilli threw some shade to BET’s own reality sensation.

The altercation took place at Ryan’s Anniversary party 2 weeks ago and was really just a misunderstanding. Frankie wanted to take a picture with Chili cause she’s her biggest fan.

All I am going to say is Frankie had too many drinks and her alter-ego took over. Chili who was doing an interview at the time was caught by surprise when Frankie ran over to give her a hug. Frankie didn’t like Chili’s return hug.

Frankie then yelled “my daughter is better than you any way.”

Now, I know crackheads tend to have superhuman strength, but Frankie is supposed to be off the pipe, and Chilli, well, she’s a small one, but have you seen her arms? She could probably bench press an Escalade.

You might want to get your mama, Neffe and Keyshia.

I like Frankie, but I didn’t know any better, I’d say her mental state these days is somewhere hovering over cloud 9. In other hands, a kite wishes it could be as high as Keyshia Cole’s mama.

There’s a video clip of her out on the street doing the most, and I don’t know about ya’ll, but I’d put my mama in Shady Pines if she acted that way in public.

To be fair, Frankie could very well be clean and sober in the video clip in question. Some people are just naturally eccentric, loud, and spontaneous. Not everyone needs a prescription from an unlicensed pharmacist at the car wash to prescribe something to get you like that.

Still, that’s actually not comforting as it suggests that Frankie is just plain old crazy. That’s a bit embarrassing to and I imagine most find footage of their mothers punking street violinists to be embarrassing. Really: Why wouldn’t she let that scared musician be great?

I can only imagine what’s coming on The Frankie and Neffe show — but I’ll likely watch every single second of it. Holla.

There’s already plenty of buzz surrounding last night’s BET Awards and while I was interested to see who would take home what award, I think we can all pretty much agree that everyone who tuned in was on the edge of their seats waiting to see what would be done to honor Michael Jackson.

Throughout all of the music and the moments paying homage to The King of Pop I was fixated on all of the the Michael-influenced fashions (No comment on Beyonce’s tiara-topped wedding/Victoria’s Secret Runway ensemble and T-Pain’s “Big A– Chain”)!  Michael’s trend-setting status, though more subtle than his musical impact, is undeniable.  From the leather jackets (specifically the red one in the “Beat It” video and the two-toned one in the “Thriller” video which designer Margiela recreated in 2008!), to the marching-band style jackets, to the sparkly socks and other distinct stage costumes you can definitely find traces of MJ’s style infused in the looks of stars like Beyonce, Rihanna, Usher and Chris Brown, just to name a few.

Last night I looked forward to seeing the stars bring it fashion-wise on the red carpet and during performances and while several kept their MJ nods low key by simply accessorizing with the iconic one-hand glove (shout out to Estelle, Alicia Keys, Day 26, Sean Paul etc!) some people really went all out with their outfits! Below were some of my favorites from the night.

As the night’s host, Jamie Foxx made several wardrobe changes and each look had a Michael theme. Now I have a feeling he was fronting and playing the air guitar during this performance of “Blame It,” but he looked every bit a rock star and his tee was plenty Bad.

The curly coif, the cropped pants with socks, the sparkly top?  Keri Hilson won in my book! Miss Keri baby, Mike would’ve been proud of the way you nailed his look!

Now the original Gloved One would’ve at least had the decency to rock a hat (*side eye* this bald look…) but Ne-Yo gets some points for his crisp leather jacket and crimson gloves.

I still don’t understand why Ciara did a sit-down ballad performance of “Heal The World” instead of, um, coming with an uptempo performance highlighting her strong suit: dancing, but at least she had the look down with this sequined and tassel detailed jacket.

Keyshia Cole’s bedazzled top and capris during this performance of “Trust” confused me, but Monica came with it modernizing Michael’s signature marching-band jacket style with long leather gloves and hip-hugging tights.

Ronnie DeVoe of New Edition/B.B.D fame channeled the ABC-era Michael in a fringed vest, newsboy cap and shades.

Another day, another freaky deeky sex scandal.

This time it involves a porn star (shocker) and entertainers (even bigger shocker).

India, a porn star turned rapper (stop laughing), got into some Tweet beef with another chick who uses her goodies to get more cash than a PIN number.

India was trying to call out Sinnamon for being a whore (stop laughing). Here’s how the conversation broke down:

India: Ok since u want to talk what about u f–king kayne west

Sinnamon: I never f–ked Kanye. That’s my homeboy. Everyone knows I as on tour with him for legit reasons.

Sinnamon: Yeah. I was doing massages. I worked on Keyshia Cole, Fantasia and the band along with Kanye.

Who hires a porn star for just massages? That’s like hitting up a drug dealer for aspirin. Kanye has longed owned up to his affinity for pornography, and Keyshia and Fantasia, well, they are cool with Missy.

India could be very very very wrong, but hey, I’ve watched her air out other people’s dirty laundry on Twitter the second you get out of pocket with her. Do you think she’s talking out the side of her neck or there’s some truth to her claims?

Keyshia Cole would like you to know that she is not dating Maino.

In a statement to YoRaps.com, Manny the manager says:

“In response to the rumor about superstar R&B artist Keyshia Cole dating rapper Maino, which has been floating around the ‘Net, I, Manny Halley would like all the bloggers to personally know that there is no truth to this rumor. Keyshia and Maino do not have a personal relationship at all.”

Looks like we can continue to keep the link to Keyshia’s top ten wants in a man active.

It seems the gift of fertility is strong in Keyshia Cole’s family. Her sister, Neffe, has confirmed that she is pregnant yet again.

Speaking with Sister2Sister, the knocked up Neffe said, “I’m pregnant and I got an attitude with him [Atlanta-based rapper Soullow] and don’t want him to f***ing touch me right now—or ever. Because I—was not supposed to happen this way. Now I’m trying to figure this s**t out, ’cause I just had Jaylen.”

When news of a new child is expressed in such a sentimental way, how can anyone not help but feel all warm and tingly inside?

This will be the first child for the couple and number five for Neffe. Soullow also has children from previous relationships.

Congrats to Neffe and Soullow.
