Although I could go without a day (or eternity) without hearing anything else about a member of the Kardashian family, it was nice to see Kim Kardashian take a step back and let her two famous for nothing sisters see some spotlight.

But, now that Khloe Kardashian has been the one to report on after marrying Laker Lamar Odum, it seems Kim’s looking to get her own wedding.

Via the National Enquirer:

“Kim and Reggie haven’t looked back since reuniting,” said a friend of the couple. “They’re already making wedding plans.”

Kim is the one who popped the question – sort of.

“After they got back together, Kim was determined to pin him down on marriage,” explained the friend.

“So while visiting him in New Orleans following Khloe’s wedding, Kim brought up the subject of walking down the aisle.

“She was totally surprised when Reggie said, ‘Yes, let’s do it!’”

The two are gearing up for a 2010 wedding, sometime after football season ends in February, says another source.

Oh and about that whole “sharing the spotlight” thing:

“Kim has always seen herself as the glamorous superstar of the family, and there’s no way she’s going to be out-shined by either of her sisters.

“She’s all for sharing the wealth and fame – as long as she is the wealthiest and most famous.”

Figures. They sound like reality TV’s answer to The Chipettes – only Britney and the girls seemed a lot more authentic.

Halloween is rapidly approaching and this year amid the ghouls and goblins a popular costume choice will be to dress as a celebrity. Even celebrities are being celebrities: Tyra Banks showed off her Kim Kardashian costume on her show earlier this week (pictured above).

One of my friends mentioned going as Rihanna, complete with a black eye and an umbrella and having her boyfriend be Chris Brown in a community service jump suit (too soon, too soon!), here are some other ideas if you want to be one of the stars.

Michael Jackson

“Thriller” is always an unofficial Halloween anthem grab a red leather jacket, pants (make sure to show off your white socks) and a jheri curl wig and be the King of Pop in the iconic video. Points if you know the choreography when the song starts playing while you’re partying.

Lil’ Mama

With a cheap weave ponytail, a bedazzled shirt and jeans you too can be ‘Lil Mama. Run up on folks and interrupt their conversations while breaking into a thug stance or have a friend be Jay-Z (all black everything, easy enough).

Lil Wayne

Rock locks, add fake tattoos on your neck and face (don’t forget the teardrop), get a grill and you’ve got Weezy F. Baby. Just don’t break out into “Lollipop” if little trick-or-treaters are around.

Beyonce

If you’re feeling bold, try an easy Beyonce costume from her “Single Ladies” video. A leg bearing leotard, heels and a blond wig.
Tell any guy who tries to holler if he likes it…well you know the rest!

Wait, Kim Kardashian confirmed her break-up and even dyed her hair blonde shortly after (ladies, you know a hair color change or chop can come after a serious breakup), so why is she still out and about holding hands with Reggie Bush?  Apparently the two are still hanging out.  According to People.com:

Just three weeks after they amicably split, the pair were “all smiles” as they walked together Monday into a Ruth’s Chris Steak House in New Orleans, an observer tells PEOPLE.

Why they hooked up wasn’t yet known – her rep didn’t immediately comment – but both were in the Big Easy on business: Kardashian had a long-planned appearance at a Dress for Success charity event and Bush is in the Saints training camp to prepare for the NFL season.

Well, maybe they are now just friends, back together, or it was a publicity stunt.  Either way, the two always seem happy — hopefully those rumors of Reggie’s sex tape with another woman aren’t true (although if they are, I’m sure Kim would be able to empathize).

Naomi Campbell took a walk on the wild side in Harper’s Bazaar‘s September issue.  In a spread photographed by Jean-Paul Goude, titled “Wild Things,” the supermodel was snapped running with a cheetah, jumping rope with monkeys, and riding a crocodile and elephant.  Naomi always brings it, but some are calling the high-fashion spread racist. Last night was another episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and it was filled with “dramer” (thanks for that new word Dwight!)! Sheree couldn’t pull off Kim Zolciak’s wig on the show, but Dallas Austin sure did pull the blonde’s card off-screen!  Austin who is the producer that entertained Kim’s no-singing self as she howled off-key like a sickly cat in the studio (and that’s as nice as I can be) in Season One had some words about the “housewife” on Twitter last night:

Dallas: Don’t ever put that house wives b*tch in serious music convo please !!! It’s unfair to real talent people it was only for broken dreams tv!!

Dallas: High priced hookers on a TV show for screwing married men… and getting Kandi to sing for u ain’t gonna work either.

Ouch!  I guess this means he won’t be working on the “Tardy for the Party” remix?

Meanwhile, if you think Reggie Bush is fine, you might be able to see him in the buff soon. Supposedly the NFL running back is following the footsteps of his ex-girlfriend Kim Kardashian and has a sex tape.  His bedroom co-star isn’t Kim though, apparently it’s Miami based stripper model Carmen Ortega.  Carmen did a radio interview with Hot 97 and claimed that she made a sex tape with Reggie and that she might release it (if this is all true I’m sure she’s just waiting for the highest bidder).   The escort model is also embracing the role as home wrecker and saying that she was creeping with Reggie for 3 months while he was with Kim and that’s the reason why the two broke up.  This story looks like it might get ugly! When will celebs learn to keep their freaky episodes off camera!? Or at least snag the copy of the tape once the camera stops rolling so there’s no evidence.

If you thought Mariah Carey had the last laugh in her drama with Eminem when she released the song and video “Obsessed” think again!   Yesterday the rapper debuted a new song, “The Warning,” and served up some pretty low blows. A sample of the vile lyrics:

“I’m obsessed now? Oh gee, is that supposed to be me in the video with the goatee/ Wow Mariah, I didn’t expect her to go balls out/Bi–h, shut the fu–k up before I put all them phone calls out/ you made to my house when you was wild n out before Nick/When you was on my di–k and give you somethin to smile about”

“How many times you fly to my house? Still trying to count/Better shut your lying mouth if you don’t want Nick finding out….Enough dirt on you to murder you…Mariah, it ever occur to you that I still have pictures?”

Mariah and Eminem have been having drama since 2001 when they were rumored to have had a fling and she denied it. Earlier this year he dropped a song, “Bagpipes From Baghdad,” in which he calls her a “whore” and her husband Nick Cannon a “punk” among other things. Nick went to bat for his wife against Eminem on his blog and of course Mariah released ”Obsessed” last month.

We’ve seen beef between rappers, which can be wack enough (ahem, The Game waging war on Jay-Z), but what kind of male rapper goes in on a R&B star, and a woman at that?  How weak!

Meanwhile, an album that you won’t be hearing anytime soon is Lil’ Wayne’s “Rebirth.” The album has been pushed back yet again and the rapper has said he will release the LP when his Young Money label is in order. Looks like we might be waiting awhile for that to happen cause there seems to be drama. According to BlogXilla Wayne’s label  is reneging on its promise to let one of their newest artists, Nicki Minaj, rap and sing because Wayne would rather focus on the singing career of his new girlfriend Shanell, who recently signed with Young Money (and is D. Woods‘ sister, if you care).  Really Wayne?  Didn’t anyone ever tell you not to mix business with pleasure and for the love of latex haven’t you had enough girlfriends this year?

In other news, Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush’s break up might not have been as peacable as they’re making it seem.  Fox 411 is reporting that the two really broke up becasue Kim was exchanging steamy text messages with Kanye!

“Reggie saw text messages on Kim’s phone from Kanye West and flipped out on her,” a source told FOX411. “The texts referenced a night they hung out, how much fun he had, how hot Kim was, and more racy things that got Reggie’s imagination running.”

I’m not sure how much I believe this, but hey, stranger things have happened!

Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush have confirmed that they have split up.

A rep for Kardashian told E! News that both are “very sad” about the split.

I know a bunch of women (and men – ya’ll know) that are giddy with excitement over Reggie Bush being back on the market, but hey, be gentle when you try him at an after party – he’s hurting.

The source said:

“They love each other a lot and hope someday they can make it work. But for now, he starts his football season this week and Kim starts filming season four of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, and they just need this time apart.”

OMG. I can’t believe it. Like, OMG, how could this happen? Is nothing sacred anymore?

If these two couldn’t make it, there’s no hope for any of us.

So I wouldn’t be shocked if Kim managed to mend this rift and still get her ring, but if that doesn’t happen I give her two months before she’s snatched up by someone else.

So what industry will she go to find him? Will she return to the music world to find a man or will she start shooting for the NBA?

Now Kim Kardashian herself wants to record an album. The girl famous for everything that does nothing now has decided she wants to sing. And Jesus’ favorite choir director wept.

Apparently, Kim K. is in the studio recording tracks. And get this: She’s trying to do R&B.

Look what you started, Cassie.

Or maybe I should say, Ciara, since that’s who been said to be encouraging her. The two are rumored to be recording a duet.

That’s going to sound like a goat and cat with strep throat.

For the record, having singers in you doesn’t necessarily mean they left actual talent there.

Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush are taking it off.

The celebutante and her football-playing boyfriend recently stripped down for GQ magazine. She’s wearing a bikini and resting on Bush’s back while he’s doing push ups.

In another photo, Kardashian is seen wrapping her hands around Bush’s shirtless body (Holla!).

“We were super excited for this shoot, but also a bit nervous. We had never done a shoot together and didn”t know what to expect!” she wrote on her blog.

And what does she think of the end result? “It turned out super hot and we love it. We did the shoot at an amazing mansion in Los Angeles,” Kardashian also wrote.

And will there be a walk down the aisle soon?

“We are totally happy, and we have a great relationship, and it’’s definitely where things are heading.”
