Miss USA Crystle Stewart of Texas isn’t hiding after her embarrassing fall in last night’s Miss Universe pageant. Showing grace, she chatted with Matt Lauer via telephone on The Today Show this morning from Vietnam, where the pageant was held, to talk about her stumble.“My (beaded) dress got caught under my shoes,” she said. “…It was like I was on roller skates.”After she tumbled, she quickly got up and applauded herself. I couldn’t help but think of when Beyonce tripped and fell down the steps during her concert in Orlando last year. She too was back on her feet and continued on as if nothing happened.

“It’s about how you handle it and how you pick yourself up in life and in general,” Crystle said. “I fell and probably made the show better anyway. You need some drama here and there.”

Well, it is a little odd that this was the second consecutive year a Miss USA fell in the Miss Universe pageant. Last year it was Rachel Smith who was booed after her disaster. Hmmm.

“Maybe somebody dropped marbles,” Crystle said.
