Supermodel Naomi Campbell is back in the news. This time for reportedly refusing to pay a $400 hotel bill for silk sheets the housekeeping staff at the Ritz-Carlton in Moscow claimed the catwalker burned with candles or cigarettes.

Campbell and her Russian beau Vladislav Doronin stayed in the $20,000 a night presidential suite at the hotel but her publicist denied any damage.

“She didn’t have candles on the sheets,” a spokesperson was quoted as saying. “She did not smoke in the hotel room. It is completely untrue.”

The two did burn up the Italian isle of Capri, where they enjoyed a romantic holiday earlier this summer.

Three months after American Vogue’s controversial cover with NBA star LeBron James unintentionally posing as King Kong and model Gisele Bundchen as Fay Wray, the magazine’s Italian counterpart Vogue Italia is making news with a nearly all black issue that features an array of black models from Naomi Campbell, whose topless photos warranted the diva a special section on the magazine’s website, to Tyra Banks. Noted photographer Steven Meisel shot the historical issue, that even shows Jay Z smiling, well sort of.

“Mine is not a magazine that can be accused of not using black girls,” says Italian Vogue editor-in-chief Franca Sozzani.

Was she taking a swipe at her American counterpart Anna Wintour? Wintour uses black girls. Remember Jennifer Hudson on the cover of American Vogue’s March 2007 issue with her mouth hanging open, a la LeBron? Notice a pattern here.

Naomi Campbell may call Nelson Mandela her “honorary grandfather” but don’t look for the catwalker to strut on stage at Mandela 90^th birthday concert on Friday in London.

The supermodel’s spokeswoman was quoted today as saying, “She has been affiliated with Nelson Mandela for over two decades and has been invited as a personal guest to tonight`s (charity) dinner.She was never planning to go to the concert.”

Nutty Naomi Campbell plead guilty to assaulting those two police officers she went off on when she thought the airline lost her luggage. A judge sentenced her to 200 hours of community service. In addition to a nearly $5000 fine, she was also ordered to pay $400 to each of the officers she attacked and $300 to the pilot of plane.

This chick needs to do some hard time, in a hard prison, with some hardened criminals. Maybe that’ll scare her straight.

According to Starpulse.com, nutty Naomi Campbell recently had some kind of surgery so she can have kids.

“Now I can have a child I would like one. I’m even willing to have one without a father. I know that I am ready.” And Campbell believes motherhood will be life-changing for her. She adds, “I know that with a baby I would change, I’d calm down. With a child you cannot accept compromises. You have to give your full self.”

A “friend” says the temper-prone diva has been losing her locks over the past 15 years. It’s the weaves!

“That’s been happening for a while. The hair stylist Sam McKnight said to me in the ’90s, ‘She’d better be careful with those weaves, she’s going to lose her hair,’” said fashion photographer Huggy Ragnarsson to Britain’s The Sun newspaper.
