Does Omarion Have Something Against Bisexual Women?

Published by Runteldat on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 11:50 am.

Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel

There’s a story going around that claims Omarion insinuates that bisexual women lack class.

Here’s what mighty midget (no shade, short people are everything) said to Sister 2 Sister when asked would he date a woman like Amber Rose:

“No disrespect, but no Amber Rose for me. Everybody has their past – and don’t get me wrong, I’m not judgmental at all – but I do like a certain amount of class.”

FYI, saying bisexual women lack a certain amount of class is in effect judging them.

He’s since elaborated, however, writing on Twitter:

Just read a interview..I hope no 1 was offended like amber rose..or anyone who choose 2 be bi sexual…I wasn’t sayin that I don’t like them

I was saying that I wouldn’t want 2 b in a relationship with 1 bi chicks are hella fun&kool I kno lots of bi girls but notfora relationship

My woman kant have me and someone else..just not my steeezzz..

Though he denied the talk of him marrying a bisexual stripper, the girl in question that he brought around the scene was in fact a stripper at Magic City who was bisexual.

Maybe that one cheated on him, but does that warrant generalizing other people based on sexuality? Some people can contain their urges in a relationship regardless of what they like.

Not to mention when you’re behind such classy gems like “Bump, Bump, Bump” and used to sell a slightly oversexualized image to minors in your boy band days you should probably watch how you clock others.

But, uh, he meant well and has a right to his opinion?

Artists Speak on Rihanna’s ‘Devilish’ Controversy

Published by Dior Noir on Monday, November 2, 2009 at 3:00 pm.

A few weeks ago Tiffany Evans raised eyebrows when she rent on a rant about “satanic” practices in the music industry, specifically blasting Rihanna’s new single “Russian Roulette”, a song she thinks is glorifying suicide and the devil. The lyrics start off: “Take a breath, take it deep/Calm yourself, he says to me/If you play, you play for keeps/Take a gun, and count to three/I’m sweating now, moving slow/No time to think, my turn to go”

Now although Rihanna sings the song Ne-Yo is artist who actually wrote it and here’s what he had to say in response to Evan’s comments: “It’s definitely dark, but if you think about it, ‘Thriller’ was dark, but it’s one of the biggest-selling records of all time. Nobody’s really going out to play Russian roulette or thinking about killing themselves or nothing like that. It was just an interesting topic over a crazy beat, and who better to pull that off than somebody like Rihanna?

Meanwhile the producer of the song Chuck Harmony wasn’t having any of it! He called Evan’s rant “beyond stupid” and “immature” and also added: “There are no satanic messages in the music. Maybe if we did a remake of ‘Promise Ring’ (Tiffany’s hit single), then Rihanna wouldn’t be a devil worshiper. People are so closed minded. The song is not literal. Like most provocative art, its symbolism. Grow up.

Singer Omarion added his two cents to the subject in an interview with TheBoombox.com and elaborated on the music industry’s “dark side”:

I don’t personally know Rihanna’s beliefs but I think there’s a very dark and very sinister part of the entertainment business and I think it’s very visible…it really made me think that there is a [time as an artist] where there’s going to be a choice. The [entertainment] world [dictates] that you have to be with three or four women, or do this in order to get that [and] I think it’s really interesting. With God and the industry, it’s really dark. The dark side is having to get in, there’s a certain submission you need to have. Just like a gang [initiation], so to speak. You might have to do something against your moral code. I’m not saying that it’s always this way, but when you’re someone that is young and you’re coming up in the industry and you really don’t have a grip on your morals it can be very dark. The game is just about over saturation.

I don’t know if Rihanna [has fallen victim to those pressures]. I’ve never really heard her speak about it. I hope that she doesn’t believe in that stuff and I don’t think that she does, but I don’t know. It’s not just been a Rihanna thing, [there's has been religious speculation] about a lot of artists.

Evans, like Omarion, made some good points on the music industry having a pull on an artist’s morals, but honestly I forgot she was even a recording artist before her rant so I wonder if she’s just trying to get some attention by going as far to say artists in the industry are “devil worshipers.” What’s your take on the whole controversy?

We’s Free Now, Omarion

Omarion has provided yet another glowing reason why celebrity publicists ought to declare war on Twitter.

Though he’s since deleted this tweet, Media Take Out already caught it proving yet again why some celebrities need to dip their keyboards and cell phones in water.

Instead of making news for signing with Lil’ Wayne’s “Young Money” imprint (whatever happened to signing with Timbaland, Omarion?), more people are now concerned with O being color struck.

As you can tell from the above image, Omarion likes them light and bright. Everyone has their preferences, but he sounds mighty ign’t.

His mom is about as light as a can of Dr. Pepper, but even if she were why would he say something that could possibly alienate a portion of his fan base?

Media training fail.

Omarion sex tape? No, it’s not an April Fools’ joke…

So word around the web is that the above image of Omarion with his rumored bisexual ex-stripper wife is a small preview of the sex tape that’s coming soon.

It’s been said that Omarion’s homemade porno was filmed by a female friend of the couple. Not so coincidentally Omarion has a new song that leaked called “My Girl Is Bi.”

Imagine that.

So basically this is a publicity stunt in which Omarion seeks to kill two birds with one stone: Beat off rumors that is one true love is Bow Wow and promote his new single that you probably wouldn’t have cared about unless you were 15 and leading prayer circles for a B2K reunion tour.

Why do I get the feeling Chris Pokes Stokes probably edited this video?

I blame Ray-J for making everyone believe that a sex tape is the only way to extend your 15 minutes of fame!

Did Omarion Marry A Stripper?

Published by Runteldat on Monday, March 23, 2009 at 12:01 am.

2009 seems to be the year of the bi-sexual ex-stripper. First Amber Rose went from the pole to the video shoot to the arms of Kanye West, and now it’s rumored that this ex-singles chaser is Mrs. Grandberry.

Word around the web is that Omarion married this woman way back in spring 2008. While it may have taken long for us to learn that Omarion got hitched, it hasn’t taken long for his wife’s past to come up.

Pictures of her with “ladies who lunch” have leaked online. And if you log on to her old job’s Web site, you’ll see that she’s still featured under “ladies.”

Maybe you can turn an ‘O’ into a housewife.

Who Got Next?

Chris Brown was hyped as the next Michael Jackson. However, Michael Jackson had Johnnie Cochran, while Chris Brown has the lawyer Michael Jackson fired.

If sent to jail, some fans may become Chris’ prison pen pals, but many will likely move on to the next rhythm-heavy R&B pretty boy ready to take his place.

And just who that be?

Usher: He started dancing like someone’s funny Uncle last year, and spurred Ad nauseam with an entire album dedicated to his wife, but is Usher one hit away from securing his spot back?

Omarion: Can’t manage to score a hit album to save his life (and record deal), but what if Chris were out of the picture?

Mario: Mario is like that person you know has so much talent, yet you still don’t pay him any mind. That is, until Chris Brown treated Rihanna like a UFC fighter.

Trey Songz: More like baby R. Kelly than the sequel to Chris Brown, but I’m sure he’s willing to take dance lessons.

Sammie: He’s hook boy on Soulja Boy’s second hit single. That has to count for something, right? No. Ok, whatever.

I personally prefer Bobby Brown, so I might be out of the loop.

Who do you think has the best chance at break dancing pass Chris Brown?

Love At Any Height

Something about Omarion and his girlfriend reminds me of Jermaine Dupree and Janet Jackson. Can’t quite put my finger on it.
