In 2008, talk show goddess Oprah Winfrey went public about her 40-pound weight gain, saying she was embarrassed and angry at herself about it.

Now? She says she’s done with the excuses. 

The media mogul tells MSCNC.com that she’s just going to make time in her crazy schedule for exercise.

“This is the year of hopefulness. My goal is to be the weight that my body can hold and be healthy and strong and fit and be itself,” she says.
