Kanye might be going through a life spiral right now but his girl Amber Rose is still doing her thing! Earlier this week she turned up at Elle magazine’s 16th Annual Women in Hollywood event looking classy in a hip-hugging red dress and at the event she told the LA Times she doesn’t plan on giving up those curves anytime soon. She spoke about her contract with Ford Modeling Agency and said “I told them, Don’t ask me to grow out my hair or lose any weight. I want to represent real women who have curves.” I like that she’s keeping it real! She agreed not get any more tattoos until her contract is up, but when it is she wants a full sleeve tat. That woman could pull off almost anything!
Baby Makes Three
Robin Thicke and Paula Patton are expecting their first child. The couple were high school sweethearts and married in 2005. The baby news comes just weeks after Paula told Giant magazine she had “stopped taking birth control” in an effort to get pregnant. Congrats to the happy couple! In addition to expanding their family, both the Thickes have new projects coming out. Robin’s latest single, ‘Sex Therapy,’ was released this week and Paula stars in the upcoming movie “Precious” (just went to a screening last night and it is heavy. Go see it when it hits theaters November 6th!).
The “Sixth” Housewife
The second season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta ended last night, but despite continuing to be portrayed as Nene’s “gay boyfriend” Dwight Eubanks sat down and told the folks at Black Voices that he doesn’t discriminate. “If I wanted to be with a woman, I will be with a woman, and if I want to be with a guy, then I will be with a guy,” he declared. “I like all fruits, but I do have a problem with [people] dwelling on ‘Dwight the gay housewife.’ Let’s get to know Dwight.” Dwight confirmed with Essence back in April that he’s engaged to a woman. I’d be interested to see him on his own show, but he doesn’t know if that will be a reality. Black Voices reported that he not sure what network execs have in mind for his own show. He added, “most days I don’t know what to do with myself. I know I am a lot.”
Speaking of Housewives Kandi Burruss is the next cast member to be bitten by the fashion bug! Luckily Dwight wont have to call her “dreadful” because she’s not trying to design. She recently opened a boutique called TAGS in Atlanta with her business partner Peaches Chin. Wonder if the boutique will carry “fashions” from She by Sheree and Closet Freak (Lisa Wu Hartwell’s line)?
That’s all for this week, we’ll be back on Monday!

I don’t know what Sheree did to her ex-husband, NFL player Bob Whitfield, but he has been going off about her on Twitter!
She’s painted a less than stellar image of him on her show Real Housewives of Atlanta before, blaming him for her house foreclosure and admitting she hasn’t seen a dime of the “seven figures” she fought hard to get out of him after their divorce. Guess he thought it was time to speak his piece. Look at the madness he’s been posting from his account @whatupbob:

The name calling, the demand for his last name back (Sheree still goes by Whitfield), the “black gloves” OJ murder trial reference!? Somebody’s bitter!

Fashion Week is fully underway in New York and while well-known designers are showing their Spring 2010 collections at Bryant Park, further downtown at The Red Bull Space Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Sheree Whitfield hosted a presentation of her debut line She by Sheree yesterday. I can’t lie, I couldn’t wait to see what these clothes looked like. If for nothing I knew I’d be in for some tomfoolery. If you watch the show, you know that Sheree has been trying to kick off her line for a while. She previously attempted to do a showing in Atlanta but ended up not having any “fashions” (as “5th housewife” Dwight would say) to show guests. There were actually clothes this time around–3-5 models displayed looks that rotated every half hour–and I was honestly surprised at the results.
The looks, which fall into a palette of black, gray, black, deep blue, and yellow, ranged from tailored dresses to jumpsuits in lace and satin. I heard someone criticize the collection as something you’d find on sale at Forever 21 or Target and others echoed that opinion of the clothes which start at a $200 price point. Sure, the production wasn’t flawless (hanging threads and ill fitting plagued some of the looks) but they honestly weren’t as dreadful as I thought they’d be and were a vast improvement from her last effort.
When I caught up with Sheree today for a brief moment at the Jill Stuart fashion show (yes she’s still making Fashion Week rounds!) she told me that her presentation was not without it’s snafus: “Anything that could’ve gone wrong went wrong, but in the end everything turned around and it was fabulous,” she said (and thankfully she didn’t have to go off on anyone this go round). She wants her clothes to feel accessible to a wide range of women: “I think She by Sheree is for women who love a great fitting. To me it’s about a great fit and having great fabric and women feeling confident in their clothes,” she said. ”That could be a younger girl or an older woman, but it’s for a woman who likes to be a little edgy but still classy.”
Take a closer look at some of the looks below. What do you think: dreadful, doable or delightful?

For those of you who have dreams of being the next Donatella Versace, Kimora Lee Simmons, or FUBU, but can’t sketch, sew, or possess any other talent associated with designing fret not – you can still be one if you’re a Reality TV star.
Sheree Whitfield has one upped the naysayers with the announcement that she will unveil her clothing line, She by Sheree, at New York Fashion Week.
She won’t be under the big tents at Bryant Park, but she is on the schedule and she will debut her line at the Metropolitan Pavilion.
Some have already criticized this as a big discredit to New York Fashion Week given designers bust their butts to get a spot at the famed fashion event yet a person who can’t even design her own designer clothes will be taking part in the festivities.
But hey, an accomplishment is an accomplishment, isn’t it?
