According to one of MediaTakeOut.com’s snitches, Solange Knowles and her boyfriend rapper Wale have been out in Brooklyn together or the past few weeks looking for a place.

According to MediaTakeOut.com’s impeccable source, Solange is looking to rent an apartment in Brooklyn – and Wale’s been at every appointment so far.

If you recall Solange has already denied that she’s dating Wale. While I suppose one could say that remains to be seen MTO is really trying it with their “impeccable source,”  huh?

I bet this same impeccable source could see Solange hug someone with long hair and swear that Solange just made a deal to scalp the girl for a new sew in.

It’s amazing what a haircut can do for one’s career. If the rise of Amber Rose didn’t convince you of it, Solange making it all the way to The Oprah Winfrey Show to talk about her new fade has made the power of the clipper obvious.

In a new spread in Honey magazine, Solange talked about the flack she’s received for giving her scalp the Barbara Jordan treatment.

To ya’ll who like it when she puts a remy on it:

Do you even care? Does it bother you at all?

Obviously not (laughs). I knew what the reaction would be before it happened.  I’ve always been in-tune with what physically and emotionally makes me happy. I was that little girl that wanted to wear the tutu and tap shoes as my nanny is sitting next to me shaking her head ‘Yes, yes.’ All through high school I got made fun of because of what I wore and what music I listened to, so this is just junior high for me all over again. I don’t care, and I don’t think I ever will because at the end of the day, these are not the people who are going to be there to change a flat tire or who help you in ways that you really need it. This is a really fickle and materialistic and narcissistic industry. I try not to put too much into that because it will eat you alive. The people that I love and that I really care about — their opinions matter. Those are the people that have nothing but positive things to say.

Oh and for those of you who have noticed the friendly tweets between her and Wale – she’s denying they’re a couple, telling Honey:

Whether we’re rooting for it or not… we just want to know.

Well, he’s definitely not my boyfriend.

Well, we can cross that off the list.
No, I just stated that he’s not my boyfriend, but we are good friends. I have worked with him in the past and I think he’s uber-talented. I think he’s really smart and really creative. And I respect his art. We have a mutual thing. We’re on the same record label and yeah…

Yesterday pictures of Solange rocking a Florida Evans inspired hair cut hit the ‘net.

Hours later, Bow Wow tweeted the following:

Anyway, we see a new photo of Solange’s hair cut. Hours later, Bow Wow tweets about a girl with a hair cut and accuses that person of trying to swagger jack Amber Rose.

Who else could he have been talking about?

As for the comments themselves, this is the same person whose lyrics have been mainly penned by Da Brat and Jermaine Dupri over the years and currently trying to rhyme like the child of Lil’ Wayne and T.I.

Why won’t he let Solange and her barber be great, ya’ll?

P.S. You can’t talk about people “going through something” when you just tweeted about problems yourself.

Over the past year Solange has managed to carve quite a niche for herself outside of big sister’s shadow. She has a growing staple of fans in her own right, though there are some whose affinity for Solange is rooted in the notion that she’s the antithesis to her sister.

Well, never one to mince words, following the leak of Beyonce’s “Sweet Dreams,” video, Solange hit back at those who sent tweets talking slick about her kinfolk.

She tweeted:

“Sick of people thinking I’m gonna be my sisters enemy. Now that was the “nice” read. Next person who hits me with some negative energy about my sister is gonna get Fox news all over again. Don’t try to love ME because you want to be the “anti Beyonce”. I am the ‘all for’ Beyonce. Now kiss both of our Knowles asses if you don’t like it!”

And there you have it. Stop trying to pit that girl against her own sister because you’re wack enough to dislike Queen Bey.

Rumors that Mathew Knowles continues to sabotage secret daughter Kelly Rowland’s career have officially been denied by both Papa Mat and his alleged evil daughter, Solange.

It seems reports that Solange was given her walking papers from label Geffen over paltry record sales may have been a bit premature. Same goes for the story that Mathew intercepted a potential new solo deal at Epic for Kelly in favor of Solange.

Although I would have preferred watching him do the stanky legg after Maury Povich tells him that his sperm did not help create Kelly, Mathew decided to deny paternity via a prepared statement:

“Our joint venture with Music World and Interscope/Geffen/A&M is very much in place for Solange. We are currently experiencing success at video outlets and radio with the current single ‘T.O.N.Y’ co-written by Cee-Lo of Gnarls Barkly and Solange. Cee-Lo and Kid Cudi also appear in the video. 

It’s very disappointing in recent days the amount of false statements in the marketplace from Solange being drop to me [being] accused of being Kelly Rowland’s father.”

Solange, evidently still not a fan of media training also responded, tweeting: “stooopiddd iddddiots. rumor control for the day:) I was NOT released from Geffen/Interscope… now back to your regular scheduled program:)”

Call it a hunch, but I don’t think Solange cared for LeToya Luckett’s new video. Taking to her Twitter account – which Solange updates constantly - Knowles Two wrote these tweets:

“i remember being n Idaho 4 years ago, pulling out all my old Martha& the Vandellas, Marvelettes and Supremes records,coming up with a vision wanting to create a new age 60’s girls group and modernize it. started working on soul-angel finding 2 girls and watching old shows. this was before amy winehouse so people thought i was truly bugging out. i did i decided wiith the two girls..watched about 25 old shows of all the girl groups and asking my sis to help me come up with moves ( she had just done dreamgirls) worked my but off on references…after i did i decided alot of folks were digging it but alot of folks thought were confused about “the look” now every which a way i turn..everyone is in a 60’s girl group reference. its like traditional r&b again to do the 60’s sound, look ect.”

The reason I connected the dots was that Solange likes to update her tweet almost at the millisecond, and this rant coincidently occurred on the same day LeToya’s video for her first single, “Not Anymore” appeared online.

If I’m wrong for relating to the two (which I doubt), my bad. However, someone should remind Solange she wasn’t the first use the 60s to create a video treatment. I got four words for her: “Doo Wop (That Thing).” 

Besides, someone who once said they wanted to be the “Black Bjork” versus simply being shouldn’t speak too much on originality. 

NyQuil, fashion and twitter all led to Solange Knowles being hospitalized!

Beyonce’s lil’ sister was admitted into the hospital after suffering from an adverse reaction to NyQuil pills. She was  on board a flight from New York after leaving New York City’s Fashion Week as the incident unfolded in front of fans’ eyes.  Solange posted throughout the trip on her twitter.com page. “I think maybe I’m getting high off it because I’m not sleeping,” Solange wrote. “I didn’t know Nyquil could do this to you.”

After an unsuccessful attempt to sleep, she added, “I’m certified loosing it.”

Soon, the R&B singer did get to close her eyes, but not in the way she expected: She passed out in baggage claim.

“How’d I end up in the hospital?..Guess I passed out!” Solange was then hooked up to an IV due to dehydration and low blood pressure. “I’m like still in shock. I’ve never passed out before.” Solange later explained she was suffering from dehydration and has been ordered to rest and drink plenty of water.

According to her website, she is now being looked after at home by her mother, Tina Knowles.

Well, good thing Solange didn’t collapse on stage like Michelle, Kelly and Beyonce!

Beyonce, Jay-Z, Solange and Diddy all were faces in the crowd near the U.S. Capitol for President Barack Obama’s swearing in ceremony.

Diddy, who posted on his video vlog later …”I just wanted to share with y’all some feelings that I have — some real, like, personal feelings. One of the most beautiful things about this situation and Barack Obama is it’s even had me reflect on myself. It’s even had me talk to myself and say, ‘I can be greater, I could do more, I could give more, I could have even more of a positive impact.’ And I can help more people. I think we should all push ourselves to that point. That’s really deep that there’s someone out there that inspires me like that.”

Solange gets down in her performance at J & R’s MusicFest 2008 at City

That’s just the way it’s going to be with these two. The important thing
is that Beyonce (and mom Tina) was there, not just for Solange but Michelle Williams,
who performed also. You remember her, right?
