Tameka “Tiny” Cottle spoke to E! News about how her friend, ex bandmate, and Real Housewives of Atlanta co-star, Kandi Burruss is doing following the fatal beating of her ex-fiance, Ashley “A.J.” Jewell.

Tiny said:

“She’s doing much better. She’s a strong girl. I speak to her every day. I go and visit her. I went to the funeral. Whenever she needs me, I’m there.”

As for her own issues with her fiancé, T.I., the BET reality star said:

“We talk all day and email each other. I see him every week, and I’m just there, ya know? We work as a team.”

The second season of Tiny and Toya is currently filming. The show will reportedly chronicle Tiny as she prepares for T.I.’s release from prison.

Last Friday Drake took a tumble while onstage performing with Lil’ Wayneat the America’s Most Wanted tour concert leg in New Jersey and the singer/rapper re-injured his knee. Twitter was ablaze with news of the injury and links to videos of the unfortunate tumble. Drake responded to his fans from his Twitter account @Drakkardnoir to let them know that he was OK, but someone else took to Twitter to write about the incident as well: Drake’s knee.

Yes, that night a Twitter account called @DrakesKnee popped up generating Tweets on behalf of the singer/rapper’s bum body part.  A sample Tweet: “Hip hop’s like an open sore / but weezy came and opened doors / don’t worry bout my knee / worry if i lose my vocal chords”

Then something crazy happened: a trend (and Twitter trending topic: #celebritybodyparts) was born. Over the weekend dozes of Twitter accounts sprang up on behalf of celebrity body parts from “Oprah’s ugly feet” to Souljah Boy and Trey Songz’s err, third legs. I can’t decide if this movement is hilarious or plain ridiculous (maybe a bit of both) but below is a sampling of some of the celeb body part accounts on Twitter and what they’ve got to say:

@KanyesBeard (it should be noted that someone created this account last December, way before the trend spread like wildfire this weekend and there’s even a blog – way to stay committed!): “Once again this ni—ga walked right pass the shaving kit”

@Rihanna4Head: “Shout out to Tyras 4head! without you, id feel lyk an outsider. 5HEADS UNITE!!!”

@CiarasWig: “@brandysbraids On behalf of yaki, remy, and wigs everywhere. We respect you!” (yep, the body parts often send shout outs to each other and some even have beef).

@ Jayzlips: “All back everything , All black whip / 2 Chapsticks, one for each fat lips. Cheea!”

@solangesfade: “I guess she cut my hair so I could look more like TONY”

 There’s a lot more from where that came from. Check Twitter if you want to hear from other outlandish body parts of the stars. No matter what you think about the trend, one thing’s for sure: clearly people have way too much time on their hands.

T.I.’s still giving his boo Tiny whatever she likes, even though he’s in the slammer!

Tiny was celebrating her 34th birthday at Luckie Lounge in Atlanta with guests  including her reality TV show co-star Toya and her old fellow Xscape member Kandi Burruss when she got a special delivery from TIP.  Her boo sent her a 10-carat diamond ring, a diamond necklace and a Louis Vuitton bag!  Get it girl! At least the diamonds can be her best friend while she waits to get her man back from jail in Arkansas.

In not-so-happy-couple news Kelis and Nas are still hashing it out over money in the midst of their divorce. Kelis is still saying that Nas is being stingy with the child and spousal support and in recent legal documents claims she’s only received a $350 check and $2,500 to date from her ex-husband.

Nas has shot back at Kelis saying that he doesn’t make nearly as much as she thinks he does. Kelis claimed he brought in $11 million from his most recent recording deal but according to TMZ, Nas filed legal documents this week that say he only received $4 million from the deal.  Nas has said he wants to be a “fully involved” in the parenting of the child and has also claimed that he’s agreed to pay $350 for a stroller, $450 for a baby sling and $1,598 for two cribs (Kelis previously asked for $20,000 for strollers, cribs and other baby supplies). Something’s just not adding up (is Kelis asking for too much or is Nas just being trifling?), but here’s hoping that they figure out the math soon! Kelis’s due date is reportedly July 21st.

Meanwhile Beyonce was in the spirit of giving. In a generous gesture towards Detroit, Michigan residents who have been hit hard by the economic times, the songbird gave away 2,500 free tickets to her I Am… concert that’s going down at the Palace of Auburn Hills tomorrow. Grand Hustle artist B.O.B. Bobby Ray says won’t be visiting his boss T.I. in jail.

How come? Because T.I. doesn’t want to see him, you, or anyone else him while he’s on lock down.

In an interview with Creative Loafing, Bobby Ray talked about T.I.’s rationale behind his decision to forgo most visitors:

“He doesn’t want anyone to see him in prison. I thought about it, I was definitely going to come by a lot. But he doesn’t even want his kids to see him there. He doesn’t want that image implanted in their heads, of him being in jail. I can kind of understand that.”

Well, it seems T.I. made one exception. Sandra Rose reported that Tiny caught a flight to Arkansas to see Tip after he mentioned missing her.

As for those rumors that you can’t write T.I.? Not true. Here’s the address:

If you went by the tabloids, you would think Rihanna stayed open more than IHOP and Denny’s.

She’s been linked with rappers, actors, and reality stars. Now she’s been linked to one person who fits all three labels.

Per Star magazine:

“Rihanna just can’t escape man troubles! She’s so over Chris Brown, and has already dumped her rebound rapper, Drake.

Now, says a source, she’s turned her attention to rapper T.I. – too bad he’s taken!

‘Rihanna was sending him flirty texts,’ says the source. His finace, Tameka ‘Tiny’ Cottle, saw them, ‘And she went nuts!’ Tiny told Rihanna to back off.”

And then the Easter Bunny asked Tweety Bird if he’d like to have a three way with Miss Piggy.

Although they were reported to have secretly wed shortly before T.I. started his prison sentence, his publicist came out and denied the two are now husband and wife.

T.I.’s publicist, Sydney Margetson, told S2S that the news is “absolutely not true.”

The two have been together for years and gote engaged more than two years ago, but I guess she’s not his wife just yet, still just his “situation.”

Baby mamas, rejoice! There is hope for you after all.

After years and years…and a few more years to boot, finally T.I. is said to have finally married his situation the mother of most of his children, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle.

With T.I. reporting to jail to start his sentence, already there have been mumbles that he only married her for the conjugal visits, although I’m not sure they even allow those in federal prisons.

There are also those who say his reasons for putting a ring on it are rooted in business, but does it really matter?

Tiny can finally say, “I’s married, ya’ll” so let her be great. 

Doesn’t matter if it was his business manager or libido who did the actual proposing, in the end Tiny is now Mrs. G.I. Joe.

Congrats to the new couple. That is, if it’s true. 

Tameka “Tiny” Cottle does a two-part interview with Essence.com, talking about her relationship with T.I., her children and how going through a miscarriage brought she and her hip-hop sex symbol guy closer together. Here’s a little of what she said:

“Regarding the proposal, all I can say about how it happened was that it was sexy, but it wasn’t sweet. I was missing my first engagement ring and I’ll just say he gave me a bigger one and pretty much said, “I want to marry you.”

She was also asked if it’s tough being engaged to such a sex symbol, she replies: “No, because I’m used to having fans myself, so I already knew what it was going to be like having been in the music business and having been around other successful men and watching what they would go through. A lot of [women] love to hate me because I’m with him, but it’s not like I meet these people when we’re out together. They know his public image, but I know him as a great father and provider who is caring, sweet and attentive to his family.”

The theme for T.I.’s 28th birthday party on Saturday at the Biltmore in Atlanta
was “suited and booted” and neither T.I. nor his girl Tiny disappointed.
The rapper is scheduled to take the stage tonight at Marquee in New York City to
perform at a benefit event for the Patrón Music In Motion Tour, which raises funds
to help rebuild New Orleans.
