It’s a good thing Toni Braxton has songs like “Another Sad Love Song” and “Find Me A Man” in her catalog. She can sing it to herself every night until she finds husband #2. Essence.com reports that Toni has split with her Mint Condition husband, Keri Lewis.

The two have been together for eight years and have two children together.

The couple recently attended a taping of the Soul Train Awards together (set to air on BET/Centric November 29) — where Toni’s lips formally met the mouth of Trey Songz.

With financial problems and now a break-up 2009 doesn’t seem to be Toni’s year. Maybe once her new album drops in 2010things will look up.

In the meantime Toni and Usher used to be label mates, maybe he can recommend a divorce lawyer.

After a two-year hiatus, the Soul Train Awards will return to the BET-launched channel Centric TV on November 29. In the meantime, we’ve got a few exclusive photos of the event which was taped last night in Atlanta, Georgia at the Georgia World Congress Center.  There’s much more action to come: Beyonce, Maxwell and Keri Hilson lead the nominations for the awards, hosted by Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson. Performers like Trey Songz, Chrisette Michelle, Erykah Badu and Brian McKnight, among others will take the stage. Mario and RichGirl group member, Audra Simmons, migh’ve been breaking up in the video they shot this summer, but off-camera they are in fact a couple!  The two have been seen out and about for awhile now, but they’ve denied that they’re together while playing it coy with the “we’re just friends” line.  However, a rep confirmed to BET.com that the two are an item.

Our source said they met during Mario’s promo tour, where RichGirl opened for the Grammy-nominated R&B star.

Audra was the lead girl for the “Break Up” video and they started dating shortly before they filmed the video “Thinkin’ About You,” which was about five weeks ago.  The two are dating seriously and, according to our source, “It’s hot and heavy now.”

We knew there was a reason why they had so much chemistry in the videos! Cute!

Mario is promoting his current fourth album, D.N.A. and has been co-headlining the first ever BET 106 & Park tour with Trey Songz. The concert, which also includes Sean Garrett and Day 26 wraps November 25th in Las Vegas.

Mario will also perform at the New York’s Power 105.1 Powerhouse ‘09 concert tonight which also features Chris Brown, The Dream and Keri Hilson. Meanwhile, RichGirl opened for the North American leg of Beyonce’s I Am…Sasha Fierce tour and the group has dropped a single “He Ain’t Wit Me Now (Tho).” They’re preparing to release their first album.

Looks like Breezy’s setting up for the comeback!  According to MTV.com  Chris Brown is scheduled to headline Power 105.1’s Powerhouse concert in New Jersey on October 27th (that’ll be a nice break for him from his 180-day hard labor sentence in Virginia!). The show, which will also feature Fabolous, The Dream, Trey Songz, Keri Hilson and Mario, will be the first major promotional event that Chris has participated in to push his upcoming album Graffiti.  What do you think about the concert: is it too soon for Chris to be back on the scene or has he suffered enough?

From good news to bad news: rapper Eve told TheYBF.com that she permanently shut down her Fetish clothing line due to “legal reasons” and she also confirmed she has left her label Geffen Records. Ouch! Times may be hard or maybe Eve is just on to the next thing and focusing more on her acting interests. She’s in the upcoming Drew Barrymore and Ellen Page movie Whip It! and will be guest starring on the Fox TV show Glee for two episodes.

There might have been even more you missed from The 6th Annual VH1 Hip Hop Honors which was taped this week!  Apparently Russell Simmons was not at all happy with the show that show which commemorated the 25th anniversary of Def Jam Records. Rumor has it that Russell, who co-founded Def Jam, sent an email out to the show’s executive producer and called the show “incomplete at best.” He allegedly said that not having Jay-Z, Rihanna, Kanye, Damon Dash, LL Cool J, or Irv Gotti involved hurt the show and said that he wasn’t feeling having a comedian host (Tracy Morgan hosted the awards). The show is scheduled to air on October 13th on VH1 so set your DVRs and judge for yourself. In the meantime, have a great weekend! We’ll chat with you next week!

Last Friday Drake took a tumble while onstage performing with Lil’ Wayneat the America’s Most Wanted tour concert leg in New Jersey and the singer/rapper re-injured his knee. Twitter was ablaze with news of the injury and links to videos of the unfortunate tumble. Drake responded to his fans from his Twitter account @Drakkardnoir to let them know that he was OK, but someone else took to Twitter to write about the incident as well: Drake’s knee.

Yes, that night a Twitter account called @DrakesKnee popped up generating Tweets on behalf of the singer/rapper’s bum body part.  A sample Tweet: “Hip hop’s like an open sore / but weezy came and opened doors / don’t worry bout my knee / worry if i lose my vocal chords”

Then something crazy happened: a trend (and Twitter trending topic: #celebritybodyparts) was born. Over the weekend dozes of Twitter accounts sprang up on behalf of celebrity body parts from “Oprah’s ugly feet” to Souljah Boy and Trey Songz’s err, third legs. I can’t decide if this movement is hilarious or plain ridiculous (maybe a bit of both) but below is a sampling of some of the celeb body part accounts on Twitter and what they’ve got to say:

@KanyesBeard (it should be noted that someone created this account last December, way before the trend spread like wildfire this weekend and there’s even a blog – way to stay committed!): “Once again this ni—ga walked right pass the shaving kit”

@Rihanna4Head: “Shout out to Tyras 4head! without you, id feel lyk an outsider. 5HEADS UNITE!!!”

@CiarasWig: “@brandysbraids On behalf of yaki, remy, and wigs everywhere. We respect you!” (yep, the body parts often send shout outs to each other and some even have beef).

@ Jayzlips: “All back everything , All black whip / 2 Chapsticks, one for each fat lips. Cheea!”

@solangesfade: “I guess she cut my hair so I could look more like TONY”

 There’s a lot more from where that came from. Check Twitter if you want to hear from other outlandish body parts of the stars. No matter what you think about the trend, one thing’s for sure: clearly people have way too much time on their hands.

Though I think the criticism that the quality of R. Kelly’s music has gone down like a sex tape over the years is valid, is he really the one who should be sending this message to Kellz?

Trey’s first album was practically a love letter to R. Kelly, and now he’s on this whole “King of Remix” shtick ala R. Kelly only the difference between the two is that Kelly is an actual composer where as Songz basically sings over other’s people’s songs and calls it a remix.

You can do that on your mama’s desktop.

Some think that because R. Kelly is a legend and Trey Songz has one hit that he should be more respectful. What do you think?

Either way, I hope R. Kelly doesn’t bother responding. Rhythm and beef is corny.

P.S. I like “I Need A Girl,” but Usher did that eight years ago. You know, since we’re talking about coming harder and all.

Chris Brown was hyped as the next Michael Jackson. However, Michael Jackson had Johnnie Cochran, while Chris Brown has the lawyer Michael Jackson fired. 

If sent to jail, some fans may become Chris’ prison pen pals, but many will likely move on to the next rhythm-heavy R&B pretty boy ready to take his place.

And just who that be?

Usher: He started dancing like someone’s funny Uncle last year, and spurred Ad nauseam with an entire album dedicated to his wife, but is Usher one hit away from securing his spot back?

Omarion: Can’t manage to score a hit album to save his life (and record deal), but what if Chris were out of the picture?

Mario: Mario is like that person you know has so much talent, yet you still don’t pay him any mind. That is, until Chris Brown treated Rihanna like a UFC fighter.

Trey Songz: More like baby R. Kelly than the sequel to Chris Brown, but I’m sure he’s willing to take dance lessons.  

Sammie: He’s hook boy on Soulja Boy’s second hit single. That has to count for something, right? No. Ok, whatever.

I personally prefer Bobby Brown, so I might be out of the loop.
