The filmmaker has been on Oprah several times. Now the duo (and of course always present Gayle) are enjoying la bella vita while vacationing in Portofino, Italy.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see them working together on a project very soon.

The Queen of Talk, with an income of $275 million over the last 12 months, led Forbes magazine’s list of the 100 most powerful celebrities in June and Tyler was 42nd.

Will his association with Oprah raise his stock? Time will tell. In a way, he can point to Oprah for his success.

Sarah Jakes, the 20-year-old daughter of Bishop T.D. Jakes, married Texas Christian University student and football player Robert Henson.

The couple strolled down the aisle on Saturday at The Potter’s House, Jakes megachurch located in Dallas, Texas.

And it sounds like the Bishop was caught up in the moment:

According to TMZ.com, actor-director Tyler Perry threatened to sue his own cousin for attaching Perry’s celebrity name to some film of his called “Oblivious.” Marlon Campbell claims Perry’s lawyers sent him a letter warning him against name-dropping to try and raise the profile of his own movie. The letter reportedly said that connecting Perry to “Oblivious” is ”intentionally misleading” and “wrongfully infringes up the economic value of Mr. Perry”.
