If anyone ever makes a movie about President Barack Obama I’m almost sure they’d try to cast Will Smith to play the role (it’s all in the ears!) but I would’ve never guessed that the former Fresh Prince is actually thinking about gunning for the President’s job!
Will’s other half, wife Jada Pinkett Smith, has revealed that he is seriously considering swapping out his career on the big screen for a political life.
“Will is thinking about going into politics,” Jada Pinkett Smith told reporters. “He once said he could imagine becoming a US president. He wasn’t joking; he was quite serious about it. Will and I want to leave traces on this planet – and with that I mean more important traces than just films.”
I don’t know about President anytime soon, but if Arnold Schwarzenegger can nail a Governor title (still laughing at California for that one) surely there’s some room somewhere in the political arena for Will.
Would Will Smith get your vote?

God help the children! Rihanna, Cassie, Keyshia Cole, Kelis, etc’s half-bald hair do has trickled down to little ones!
Last Thursday, December 11, 2009, little Willow Smith, 9, accompanied her parents Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith and brother Jaden Smith, 11, to the Noble Peace Prize Ceremony in Norway, honoring President Obama.
The youngest Smith took to the stage with her family to sing at the concert that followed, and she looked like she was following in the footsteps of some of today’s pop singers with half her head shaved with the rest in a short comb-over. Now, I know Jada can be a eccentric (she’s rocked some interesting hair-dos herself while leading her rock group Wicked Wisdom and it looks like she let Jaden jack his hairstyle from Erykah Badu!) but I’m not sure that I’m feeling this for a child!
See more pictures below, what do you think?

Chris Brown (and his now trademark bow tie) sat down with the Hot 97’s Angie Martinez Show this yesterday. It was more of the same questions about THE incident (Rihanna this, Rihanna that) but he did have Oprah’s name in his mouth again because he feels like she made him the bad guy on a domestic violence episode.
“I’m very tight. I don’t diss Oprah because I respect her as a woman and what she does for women all over the world. I just feel that me and her did so much together in the past as far as me working with her school in South Africa. I feel like at the time when I would have needed a helping hand, not to boost my career but for her to reach out to talk to me and Rihanna and say ‘this is wrong..this is right.’ I’m not saying have me on the show. Just help, that’s all i was asking for. It was never a thing where it was like ‘Look I want to help these two young kids’ instead of putting the blame on just one person and bringing up 3 domestic violence guys who got a kick out of doing whatever..and then comparing them to me. I felt some way about it.”
You still mad about that Chris? I mean it could be worse!
While Oprah hasn’t reached out to help Breezy, he did acknowledge Will Smith and Diddy for offering to help. He also shouted out the couple who posted a YouTube video of their wedding party dancing into the ceremony to his song “Forever.” “That put me back on the map,” he said. After gaining popularity on the web, the NBC show The Office also did their own version of the “Forever” Wedding entrance.
Out of all the things that people have said about him and all the support he’s gotten in spite of what he did, it’s silly for Chris Brown to still feel some type of way about that one Oprah episode. He needs to let it go and focus on his upcoming Fan Appreciation tour that kicks off November 15th, ’cause if his fans aren’t feeling his new music it’s really a wrap.

Wasn’t Jada Pinkett Smith just talking about how great sex with Will Smith was a few weeks ago?
And a couple of months before that?
And a few more months after that?
And a lot last year?
And the year before that?
Anyone else notice a pattern here?
If not, start paying more attention.
In September issue of Good Housekeeping magazine, Jada talks about her favorite subject for the umpteenth time.
She told the magazine:
“My husband and I always make time for sex! Always! No matter how busy we are. And if I told you the places! You would not even believe! It’s crazy the risks that we take, but that’s what keeps it so much fun.”
Yeah, I’m starting not to believe you, Jada.
A mention here and there from Jada to dispel the myth that she and her husband are swinging from every body part but each other’s I get, but how many times is she going to bring up their great sex life?

So people are whispering (well, fonting on these “internets”) that gossiper Billy Masters is calling out Will Smith in this blind item:
“Could it be that a certain former heartthrob has left his wife for someone of the same sex? Well, there are so many contenders for this one. In the past couple months, three guys on the down low have announced separations. The one we’re talking about, however, is a case of life imitating art since he’s played gay before – notoriously. Of course, this was before his marriage, before he got famous (well, kinda around the same time)…but after he was pushed back into the closet. What goes in, despite good intentions, must eventually come out. And in and out!”
Given that Will and Jada Pinkett are always slobbin’ each other down in public, I’m inclined to think they haven’t suddenly split up. Besides, Jada has already addressed the freaky deeky rumors and considering that she looks like she can bench press Uncle Phil when in rocker mode, I don’t think I want to piss her off by believing any of this hearsay.
Team Smiths.

Call her Mrs. Pinkett Smith if you’re a schoolkid.
The fabulous Jada Pinkett Smith says she plans on adding on to the school she and hubby Will Smith opened in California last fall. The actress/producer/director and Smith opened the New Village Leadership Academy in Calabasas, a school that goes from pre-kindergarten through sixth grade.
Up next, she says she wants to add a companion high school.
The idea comes after homeschooling her own kids and developing a unique plan for them, she says.
And if you remember, the school generated some controversy because it relies on instructional methods developed by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard, the “religion” that she and Smith have been rumored to secretly practice after being introduced to it by friend Tom Cruise. The school’s director has said it isn’t a Scientology facility, the Associated Press reports.
Time will tell on that one!

Who is the most bankable guy in all of Hollywood?
Will Smith, of course.
The actor tops Forbes magazine’s Most Bankable Stars list. And it’s fairly easy to see why: His films gross $5.2 billion, seven of his films have opened at the No. 1 spot and he was nominated for two Oscars, the New York Daily News reports.

So who exactly was 2008’s top movie earner?
Will Smith, of course.
According to a survey of movie exhibitors, Smith, star of Hancock and Seven Pounds, was voted the star who generated the most box office revenue for theaters in an annual survey by Quigley Publishing Co.
Smith is only the second black actor to be chosen in the Quigley poll, which since 1932 has asked movie exhibitors to vote on the 10 stars who brought in the most business. Sidney Poitier topped the poll in 1968.
Smith’s superhero summer blockbuster, Hancock, grossed $228 million. Seven Pounds, currently in theaters, has pulled in a somewhat lackluster $39 million in two weeks.
