Al Sharpton On Bill O’Reilly, Defends Michael Jackson

I don’t usually like to give O’Reilly unnecessary attention, but it’s good to see different sides of what people think about certain aspects of African-American culture every now and then (just for a reality check).
O’Reilly has done nothing but mock and express extreme disdain for the fact that people revere MJ, and is doing what he can to soil the man’s legacy. He raised a question about Michael Jackson having White children, saying that if MJ was an African-American icon, then why would he have Caucasian offspring. In MJ’s defense, Al Sharpton said that the fact that MJ’s kids aren’t Black (as far as we know) has nothing to do with him being a Black icon, and I agree.
Jackson’s White children and plastic surgery are rooted in deeper issues that stem not just to his childhood, but to slavery. The Black psychology is still very damaged and It’s sad that MJ was living proof, but that doesn’t take away from the good things he did for the world and for entertainment. I refuse to believe that O’Reilly is not aware of that fact. The man might be a conservative, right-wing fool but he’s smart, and more tuned in than he let’s on. Controversy sells, so I guess he’s doing what gets him ratings. In the end, I’m glad Sharpton held his own. See for yourself:
Actually MJ’s kids are black. They are his. As long as you are 1/8 black (african american whatever you wanna call it) you are legally considered black. MJ’s kids are half black half white & according to the documentary with martin bashir Blanket was possibly made with a black woman. So he does not have caucasian offspring. He has mixed kids but there is no race for children of mixed descent but we do know the 1/8 rule. SO Bill O’Reily & whomever else, Paris, Prince, & Blanket are BLACK or AFRICAN AMERICAN or WHATEVER you want to call it.

He couldn’t live his life when he was alive because people would follow him around, flashing cameras in his face now hes dead and can’t get any rest. First off Bill needs to get his facts straight he didn’t change his skin because he wanted to be white, he changed his skin because he got burned and his skin was changing colors. This O’reilly guy really doesn’t know what he’s talking about…the facts are there go check them out!!!! And the fact that he broke down many racial bariers is the reason why there are many songs today with out him white and blacks wouldn’t sing together. HE IS A ICON!!!!! Michael has went through alot and thats the reason for the way he looks… just imagine if you were in his shoes wouldn’t you want your children have some similarities to they way you look??? MIchael was trying to protect his children from all the pain of peers and the media talking about them because they were mixed… and one more thing how do you know that he was able to have children maybe that was the only way…. I am not Amercian, I live in France, and in my country, there are so many black children that are adopted and raised by white families and everyone finds that totally normal!

Angelina Jolie Asiatik children
and Michael White children
All those stars had the choice to adopt a child of their own skin colour but they made another choice, this does not mean that they do not love their children!

In the words of Michael Jackson “JUST LEAVE ME ALONE, JUST STOP DOGGIN ME AROUND”. Let it go. We all have done things in our lives (both celebrities and non-celebrities)we may not be proud of, but MJ was human and expressed what true love should be like and he gave it not only to those children (biological or not) but around the world. Who finds joy in slandering the lives of the dead? May God have mercy on their souls. The fact remains he was someones father, brother, uncle, son,teacher, mentor,friend, etc…let it go. Now wonder he had a hard life. Look at the media after death. He can’t catch a break can he?
