Cheesy Chikezie Makes “Idol” 12

Well, he’s the only brother in the “American Idol” running this year. Yippee, right? Nope, no yippees here. Something about Chikezie rubs me the wrong way. Let me stop sugar coating it: I don’t like him. Yeah, yeah he can sing. But as this blog’s headline says, he’s also cheesy, he’s got an unnecessary smart mouth, bad fashion sense (you know and I know that pumpkin-colored orange suit from week one was wiggedy-whack!), and he lacks the “it” factor. At the end of the day, the “it’ factor counts most. ”It” makes me pick up the phone and vote for you. “It” makes me dare the judges to say one bad word about you. “It” might make me cop your first cd.
Sorry, Chikezie. Ya ain’t got it. Still, I’m torn. Shouldn’t I be cheering for a brother? Clearly, he’s got fans. But is anyone reading this one of them? Prove me wrong about this dude.

I really dont like him all that much either… I think African Americans are voting for just b/c he’s the only brother( me including).. He can sing but he doesnt cut it…PS IM PISSED THEY VOTED AYSJA OFF!!
It’s about time we stop using race to make decisions ….Quality should always precede skin color…with that said, Go Archuleta!
I’m not reallly into AI this season, however I cringed the couple of times I witnessed his behavior. I don’t like him because he is pompous and rude. If he receives the least amount of criticism, he acts like a child.
Why are black people always yruing to bring each other down? I’m rooting for him.

he is not a bad singer but he aint no reuben
i know simon is agressive and has a smart mouth but that’s why the show is so popular and besides his simon after awhile you just learn to ignore him
as for chiekezie his arrogant, cant dress
they should have at least kept the girl who sings like britney
