Dreamland Recap: Dance Off

The girls have sung on the street, stopped and posed for the frame, so now it’s only natural for the remaining four girls to drop down low and sweep the flo’ with it.
At the beginning of last night’s episode, the girls were taken to a dance studio to meet with choreographers Victor and Rah-Rah.
Being a big girl, Sabrina seemed a little ambivalent about performing her choreographed routine. That’s a shame she didn’t put her all into it when Drumma Boy came to see her perform. Everyone knows big girls can get down on the floor. It’s all in the extra hips.
But it wasn’t just the chunky crew that couldn’t get it right; neither could Kia. And you can add Leaf to the list. I’m not entirely sure what they were doing with her, but if you ask me, guitars and twirking don’t really fit.
The only one who really stood out with confidence and seemed to get the moves down pat was Bianca. Jazze Pha seemed to find her too overconfident, but hey, I thought she did better than those other three.
To be fair to the girls who seem a bit rhythm-deficient, there are a bunch of girls out there who can’t do anything but stand there.
In the end, rhythm didn’t save Bianca from elimination as she and Sabrina were given the boot. Bianca said she felt Jazze made the wrong decision. I’m inclined to agree, but it’s his call.
Now we’re down to the final two: Leaf and Kia.

I love ya’all but you guys really need to edit these recaps and get the spelling and sentence structures correct. Be a bit more professional and proficiant. This recap looks like it was rushed.
And I agree wit you. I’m not sure what the they were tryin to do with Leaf. It doesnt seem like she’s the type of artist that needs to have dancers dancing around her while she’s performing. I don’t know about that……It seems like she would be just fine doing her own thing on stage with her guitar acoustic and with a band sometimes.. Bianca did do a good job last night too and I don’t agree with Jazze Phae calling her overconfident. I think the confindence that she has in herself is wonderul. She seems to be sure of who she is as an artist and singer. I did think Rah-Rah was a little mean when talking about Kia’s lack of experience dancing. THis match up ought to be real interesting and R&B chic up against a rock/folky/souful/eclectic type of artist……
i think kia gone win man…..if sabrina was there then sabrina but i jst think that jazzy pha has a catchy song and leaf is not really bringing her all like kia or bianca, buti think kia is going to take the thrown and win the whole thing….

Well I understood Drumma Boyz decision of why Sabrina should have been kicked off the show, which I really wanted her to win!. But Jazze’s decision was unbelievable Bianca brought it her all she can sing, she can dance she does it all. But Kia on the other hand could sing nor could dance. And Leaf I don’t really know what going on with her, but I like the sound of her tone and music style. But too me her dance needs a little work. Meanwhile, I think Kia might win!.
Dj Rye-flee; Bianca did do all right, you are right she did bring her all but singing is an art it has to be cultivated her vocals are limited singing isn’t about how hard you sing but rather how you let it flow got to be melodic, hopefully she will continue to grow and hopefully we will hear from her again.

i dont think jazze pha made a good choice at all bianca would have killed it. kia is not bringn her all and 2 b honest i dont think its gon get any better

I think that all the girls did a good job! But I think that Kia is going to surprise everyone in the end! Kia is a person who you can cultivate into a great artist becasue she is willing to learn. I felt that Bianca was a little over confident. Bianca needed this experience to humble herself , because no one has it all in the beginning. I really like Leaf, because she has an earthy sound. As a teacher, you have those students who think they know it all and those who willing admit that they have a lot to learn. Which one would I rather teach? The ones who are willing to learn. The choices of the producers were definately hard! Leaf and Kia, Good Luck! I know that Kia will be the last one standing! Represent “Da Ville”! We are all pulling for you!

It’s amazing how big guys only want small women to sing for them. I sure wish that Jazz Pha would lose some weight. BLACK MEN……WE WOMEN DO NOT FIND YOUR BELLIES HANGING OVER YOUR PANTS ATTRACTIVE. THE STOMACH IS DISGUSTING. As for the other group, Leaf is boring and they should have kept Sabrina…. We have enough small booty shaking excuses for entertainment in the industry already….I.e. Beyonce, Ashanti, Rhianna, Amerie. However, it seems to be about just that…..Entertainment nowadays vs actual Talent. Thus the reason why I watch TV One. Real African American Television.
