Facebook Fans Want a Chaka Khan Edition of “Glee”

Inspired by the success of the “Get Betty White on SNL” campaign, a number of Chaka Khan stans have congregated on Facebook to push a dream: an entire episode of Glee dedicated to Chaka.

That’s right—a Facebook page has been launched, and so far over 1000 fans have asked that “Chaka, Chaka Khan” get her due on the popular musical comedy.

For a while now, a number of the show’s melanin-plus fans have wondered when producers would feature the music of a Black singer on the show.

One of the show’s stars, Amber Riley, previously mentioned that she would love an all-Beyoncé edition of Glee.

At this point, that or perhaps a Janet Jackson–centered show seems more plausible.

But dare to dream.

Of course, if this episode of an all-Chaka show came to fruition, Amber Riley would have to handle 90 percent of the songs.

Yeah, because I don’t want to hear a Broadway-inspired version of “Ain’t Nobody” or “Tell Me Something Good.”
