Game Over

Despite a strong effort to deter the decision, the inevitable has happened: The Game has been canceled.
Initially, the man behind the ‘Save The Game’ campaign on Twitter said nothing had been made official.
Unfortunately, the CW announced its fall lineup and The Game isn’t listed. This has happened once before and sparked rumors of the show’s cancellation last year, but this time the show’s cancellation has been confirmed.

Show supporters held rallies, organized phone and email campaigns, sent thousands upon thousands of people to flood the CW’s message board, and did a gang of press in an effort to save the show.
Still, the network killed the series.
Though there is one new series starring people of color recently picked up by Fox, and another potentially airing on ABC, why are broadcast networks so reluctant to put Black shows on their airwaves?
This week The Today Show highlighted the 25th anniversary of The Cosby Show. The Cosby Show has been one of the most successful series of all-time and it centered on a Black family.
When The Golden Girls first aired, it was sandwiched between a number of shows – including 227.
Then there’s A Different World, Good Times, and a host of other successful Black sitcoms.
If Black shows have a history of being successful and reaching all audiences, why aren’t networks willing to run them the way they used to?
I absolutely love The Game!!! I strongly think that BET should start airing their new season. It would really boost their ratings. They might as well since they already show the reruns….I mean it would only make since. Hopefully BET will show The Game’s new season!!! (It would be so great if they did)

OF THE GAME!!! THAT WOULD BE PERFECT
this was the only tv show i watched consistently.. the cast was great as was the storylines.. it was always entertaining and left you wanting more.. the advertisement for the show was horrible and really didnt get the promotion as the other cw shows when it was by far the best.. whether the cw comes to its senses or bet picks it up, the show needs to continue because i feel the best is yet to come.. this could be one the best series ever
BET PLEASE PICK UP THE GAME!!!!!! It’s the best show to air in a looonnnng time support black entertainment, after all this is BET Black Entertainment Television and it would increase your ratings so much because you all are the ones who gave The Game a chance to draw a fan base but its time to stop playing the same shows every day and start letting SEASON 4 premiere on your network! Please don’t ignore your fans we’re pleading to you guys PICK UP THE GAME!!!

BET!!!!!! Please pick up “The Game” I love it! If the reruns bring in more viewers than your original series do, What is there to think about in regards to picking up the show. Be smart BET and save a show that is worthy to be saved.
I wasn’t a huge fan in the beginning. I didn’t even know about the show (THE GAME) until one of my friends was talking about it. It didn’t catch my interest at first but while scrolling through the channels, I stopped and started watchng….immediately HOOKED!!! Wow, I couldn’t wait to see what happened each episode. It’s a great show with brilliant characters and the script brought a new show with a sense of reality to our T.V.’s. It’s sad to hear the multiple rumors on why the show was cancelled. If it is possible for BET to pick up this show…you should!!! It would be beneficial to your ratings. It would be a tremendous disappointment not to be able to watch this show progress to it’s full ability and allow the talent of the actors to be expressed. If the people want it, then why not try it…if it’s not successful, then do what’s right and cancel the show.
We hope the show is picked up and remains on. It has a lot to offer….don’t let this show disappear!!!
