I agree that the winner was obviously chosen before the show began. Anyone that has an ear could not even hear the melody of Leaf’s song during her performance. why did leaf win leaf did not even try kia worked her but off leaf had it easy whatever kia should of won

I don’t understand why people are hating on LEAF…she is orignial, refreshing,andsomethng that the world needs…she brings what is lacking in the musc someone that can actually speak for herself and not be a puppet to what is the NORM…as a WOMAN, I’m proud that she is not up there showing off her body and shaking her butt on stage just to get the audience going…we have enough ladies doing that and filling the space…her energy speaks for itself and the fact that she was able to perform an original song was great!
no disrespect to Kia she has a great voice but i much rather have someone that is real then fabricated to represent what we are missing to show that we are more than someone that can shake it on stage…

LEAF deserved to win because she has the potential of a true star.she has what it takes.she is a beautiful singer and a beautiful person and worked hard and now look where she is.mean comments are not allowed because she won because she DESERVED it.shes a original and i will be one of the millions of people to buy her album when it comes out.

i reallly wasn’t feeling leafs performance ; her vocals were shaky like kandi said and it didn’t entertain me.but i understand her style and that she is not likee everyone else. but kia was awesome ; she keep me entertained and eveything, jazzy phae did his thing with her and look too hearing her on the radio in the future(:

On a recent night, my wife and I were entertained by a gifted entertainer, Leaf. Leaf’s performance was majestic and we were blown away by her gifted hands on the guitar and her beautiful voice. Leaf, listen to your spirit and the world will soon come to realize how truly special you are.

Considering the current state of the music industry it is refreshing to see an artist who is not trying to succeed by becoming a puppet who jumps through all the proverbial hoops. My definition of a true artist versus a recording artist is in what they are pursuing. Those who pursue the music industry are recording artists and it is incumbent upon them to meet industry expectations by doing whatever the industry demands. However, those who are true artists have more depth and substance. Their first committment is to their artistry-they would do their thing even if nobody’s paying attention. How many of us long to be recognized and even paid to do what we are most passionate about? It takes guts to be yourself in an age where people will do whatever is necessary for the big payoff. The fact that Leaf was rewarded for her uniqueness by being crowned ‘the Queen’ says a lot about her musical courage as well as the judges who recognized her distinct talent and fresh sound. So-called ’shaky vocals’ can be fixed, but it’s difficult to provoke innovation and creativity in someone who only knows how to do what they’re told. Leaf’s production team should make haste in connecting her with her market and giving her fan base something to chew on. Time out for cookie-cutter recording artists. More artists/musicians like Leaf is what the consumer wants and the industry needs.

Leaf is my girl, we went to high school together she has always been really creative and I am really proud of her… She did great on the show!! Congrats Leaf!!!! Can’t wait for the album…. T
