New York Goes to Work, Fails

In a recent post about Tiffany “New York” Pollard returning to reality TV”, I may have er, expressed excitement about watching the show for Tiffany’s antics (*looks away in shame*). Now that I’ve actually watched New York Goes to Work, not so much.
The premise of the show is that New York takes on a different job each episode, chosen by viewers. So far, we’ve seen her be an exterminator, a pig farmer and last night, she worked at a nudist resort. She half-did every job, and in the first two episodes, still managed to earn the $10,000 that awaited her at the end of every task completed; but last night, she didn’t earn the money (which is way too much anyway) and flipped out, but it wasn’t a classic New York spazz. There was something tame about it and I felt cheated. The least she could do, since the rest of the show was painfully boring (and unrealistic), was set it off on someone (and they could throw Sister Patterson back into the mix for more amusement).
I guess New York brings ratings, which is why they keep giving her shows, but the bottom line is New York Goes to Work is the worst show I’ve seen in the NY chain and even though it’s only three episodes deep, I hope they don’t come back with a season two. I’d much rather see New York try to find love again or continue pursuing an “acting” career. It’s clear that she’s a clown (that’s not the word I wanted to use), but New York Goes to Work does not feed my dysfunctional reality TV addiction. Fail.

I agree this is syupid and I don’t know why she got this show. Just don’t watch it no ratings and off the air she goes. I so sick of the find love reaity shows there corny now.
i really like her in what ever she do the chic is funny.
I have to agree. I dont like the show either. I watched every episode of her past three reality shows and yes she is a clown but This one does not thrill me at all. I wanted her to do an I Love New York 3 but who am I this is just my opinion.,

TAKE HER ASS OFF T.V BET NEEDS TO PICK UP THE SHOW THE GAME GET REAL ACTORS WHO CAN READ A SCRIPT.AND NEED A REAL JOB.AND THAT’S REAL TALK.

Yeah well to me all of her shows are dumb. New york 2 was cool but everything else was a waste of good tv. I watch alot of vh1 and i would have 2 say this is the wosrt reality show ever. The Nudist episode was the best one though but her reaction was so rehearsed, and by the way she is the worst actrress ever all of the sh*** is rehearsed and it still sucks.
New York is the ugliest female on tv. She isn’t funny she is ignorant, illiterate, and foul built. I’m tired of looking at her bad hair weave, ugly lashes and the tits that look to big for her funny shaped body. What has the world come too with all these stupid reality tv shows. Rock of Love, the other funny looking white girl that was on rock of love with her own show and lets not forget Ray J. There is nothing real about these shows they are all rehearse. But hey I guess being IGNORANT, WHORISH, and STUPID SELLS! I stop watching all of these reality shows that don’t have a meaning. I feel sorry for our young generation this why they are so messed up.

why does miss new york have to be the ugliest woman on tv because shes black and the only pretty woman on tv are white? well i think that daisy show is the stuipdiest show yet and all the other reality shows tha feature white woman. what needs to happen is happening with miss new york. she s getting her paper jus like tha ugly paris hilton or brintey idoit spears.
Wow, Can this lady act any stupider? Her running around like a clown is embarrassing to Black women everywhere. Just proves , people will do anything for money. And WHY do we watch? Takes me back to the Jeffersons and the only thing the public wants to see Blacks doing is being Buffoons. Tiffany-get a REAL Job-Ops-no job skills-lol! The true actors like back in the day a program called “Hawk”, showing a Brother with some common sense and talent, the producers said there were no sponsors for that show. What a shame….Some things never change.
