It was called the BET Awards not a tribute to Michael Jackson. I am sure they will do an actual full tribute show for him soon. BET did not have a lot of time to prepare. They did a good enough job in the short amount of time they had.

BET did okay. But the show couldve been better. For iinstance we all know Ciara cant sing but can dance her but off. She should not have sung Heal The World. Maybe Keyshia or J-Hud. I felt BET did great, they pulled together a great show, the performances were great, they brought back good memories of the 80’s music and especially the Michael Jackson Legacy. The only problem I found with the show is when Ciara tried to give her rendition of Michael Jackson’s classic songs. She did terrible!!!! Ciara should have danced a tribute to Michael Jackson. The young KeKe, or anyone else would have sufficed. I thought Beyonce’s performance was terrible also, her performance had nothing to do with Michael Jackson or her own music, Ava Maria, was not the time or the place, her performance epicted her huge ego, which is truly sad. When stars believe they shine brighter than reality, they consume themselves with false beliefs of their own worth. Beyonce could have saved us all the confusion and disappointment. But thanks BET, you did your best and I applaud you for honoring Michael Jackson.
