R.I.P. Prop Joe

If you’re a fan of “The Wire,” you probably learned about the violent death of character Prop Joe last Monday when the episode was available on your cable’s Video on Demand service.
However, for those Sunday-night loyalists, last night marked the end of endearing character Proposition Joe. He was double-crossed by his nephew, played by Method Man, and amazingly enough, Joe couldn’t strike the most important deal of his life — the one to save his life. He died at the end of Chris’ gun barrel as Marlo watched.
The final season of “The Wire” is basically just beginning. What’s in store next? Who will be next to bite the dust?
