Rumor: Tyler Perry Wants To Sue Over Boondocks

Although it’s last week’s episode, the controversial (alleged) Tyler Perry-themed storyline The Boondocks trotted out on its June 20th edition of the animated series is still a highly contested topic of discussion.
The latest news is a rumor floating around that Tyler Perry is considering his legal options in order to make sure that episode is never seen again.

Remember a few days ago when we showed you an episode of The Boondocks which was supposed to be about Tyler Perry?
The one that made Tyler look like a flamboyant gay dude – who SEXUALLY HARASSED all the men around him. Well word on the street is that Tyler is trying to SHUT IT DOWN!!!
According to one fairly reliable MediaTakeOut.com snitch, Tyler has contacted a TOP ATLANTA LAW FIRM and will be seeking an INJUNCTION – to stop you from EVER SEEING that episode again.
I think by now it’s been well established that I trust green bread more than I do MTO. Also, this wouldn’t be the first time a rumor about a “ban” of a show turned out to be nothing more than fervor created for the sake of.
Time will tell whether or not Tyler Perry is really trying to give Aaron McGruder the legal clap back.
Not sure if Perry would have a leg to stand on, though, as South Park questioned the sexuality of both Tom Cruise and Kanye West on its show.
Besides, at this rate it won’t be long before Tyler is lending God money. I wouldn’t care that much, personally.
Entertainment! He’s an easy mark dressing up like a woman. In some way its flattery to be recognized by such a great cartoon as Boondocks! It won’t hurt his image or tcket sales. Two different audiences. This can only bring attention to the episode that probably/maybe only 2 million people saw.

Why would he even bother? him talking to his lawyer is only giving the show more publicity, now more people are going to be curious about the episode he should have just left it alone.

Louis, the creator of Boondocks is black. You pretty much contradicted yourself to a far extreme. Nice job, but, your arguement is now voided. Tyler needs to chill out and stop taking himself so seriously for once. He a guy who plays a girl, dude, get over it and move on to the next recycled plot.
