Single Again?

kandiburruss

I hate to be a spoiler, but shoot, she’s the one telling her business.

It seems Kandi Burruss won’t be becoming step-mama to a litter of kids anytime soon. Though we saw Kandi and her fellow lovebird smile and pose for the camera while talking marriage, off the set these two seem to be a bit on the rift.

Here’s what she told E! about her wedding plans:

Will we see your wedding on camera?
No, uh-uh, it didn’t get that far. You will see us trying to plan, but you will see a lot of the problems and the different issues that are going on.

Have you set a date?
We haven’t set a date, and I’m just going to be real with you: We have been having serious issues. My drama has been ongoing since the taping has stopped. We just got engaged right before the taping of the show. So things that I would have to deal with or things I would have to learn about, I had to learn about and deal with it while the cameras were there, which makes things even more tense, you know what I mean?

Of course, but are you still together?
Um, we are dealing with things, but that’s about as far as I can go.

To quote Dwight Eubanks: “How dreadful.”

Well, probably not to Kandi’s adorable daughter. Judging from last week’s season opener, lil’ Kandi was not keen on the idea of remixing a Disney classic and becoming Snow Black and the Seven Dependants anyway.

I bet tokens were on her at Chuck E. Cheese in celebration.

As for Kandi, lucky for her there are barely any actual wives (let alone housewives) on any of the Housewives series.

Every Xscape Member Wants A Reality Show

Published by Michael Arceneaux on Monday, July 27, 2009 at 12:00 am.

latocha-scott

Well I guess if everyone else in her group is doing it, LaTocha Scott might as well jump in on the fun, too.

Tocha is back to recording music and would like to chronicle her story via a reality show.

I know what you’re thinking: Of course she does. I would, too, if Tiny is getting it in on BET and Kandi is about to blow on Bravo.

I was thinking the same thing.

Anyhow, the show has been described as a “purpose driven show.”

I’m not sure what that’s supposed to mean. I’m guessing something about the Lord and/or inspirational programming, but all reality shows have the same purpose: None whatsoever, usually.

I mean, we laugh, some of ya’ll cry or curse at the screen, but purpose driven? I suppose I’ll have to see it to completely get it.

The as-yet-untitled series will feature Tocha’s sister and fellow former Xscape member, Tamika Scott.

Speaking with the site Singersroom, Scott’s manager describes the project as a show “that will feature their lives after all the records sold and drama with the other band mates.”

He added that the show is nothing like Tiny’s (that show is entertaining, shoot) Scott’s manager said Tocha’s will be based on the premise “that after ten years they want people to see you can maintain wealth and happiness and not play yourself for attention and stay healthy and fit while enjoying life.”

That sounds like a dig at other trifling people currently filling our airwaves. I don’t know if that’s good or bad, though. The clowns are usually the most entertaining.

Will you be watching? That is, if it actually airs. I haven’t seen that En Vogue reality show yet either.
