Vh1 Casting Urban Designers, Black Project Runway

I was browsing the web yesterday, and came across an interesting casting call from Vh1. They’re looking for men and women ages 21-32 who are passionate about hip-hop, and can design clothes that speak to the culture. According to the site, you can be an accomplished designer or someone just learning how to sew as long as you have unique ideas, a dynamic personality and are willing to compete on national television.
I’m guessing this is their take on the Black version of Project Runway. It’s way too early for any more details on what the show will be called and to know exactly who will be involved but what do you think? I can see Toccara Jones hosting. As far as judges, it will probably be the usual formula—three judges with a rotating fashion industry insider guest.Who’s your pick? Would you watch?
P.S. I remember when Vh1’s slogan was “Music First.” Geesh…
