The women of Danity Kane are ready for their second album to go multi-platinum and secure the group’s place in the Pop world. So, when they’re given track after track of slow jams to sing, they complain and complain until Diddy comes to set ‘em straight.
Surprisingly, he does no such thing. Instead of flexing his authority and threatening to kick ‘em off the label, he apologizes. That’s not a typo. Diddy apologized to Danity Kane. So, the ladies were very proud of themselves for expressing what they wanted as a group, and Diddy heard them. The next day, they were welcomed to the studio with the kind of club track they could dance to.
