Tracy Morgan Slams Former SNL Castmates

Published by Starr Rhett on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 1:10 am.

Tracy Morgan’s capricious loopy personality can be hit or miss at times. However,  he’s going to say exactly what’s on his mind whether you like him or not—with absolutely no damage control. That’s exactly why his forthcoming memoir, I Am the New Black is already creating quite the stir because of extremely blunt remarks he made about former SNL castmates Cheri O’Teri and Chris Kattan.

In his memoir, Morgan is honest about his upbringing, personal life and extracurricular activities. As far as his attitude toward former co-workers, according to Entertainment Weekly, when discussing his 10-year stint on Saturday Night Live, Morgan writes that he was disrespected by  Kattan and Oteri, and let them have it. (”Where’s Chris Kattan now? Where’s Cheri Oteri now? That bitch can’t even get arrested.”)

Wait. It gets worse.

Morgan was so angry that he went off-script while recording his audiobook adding, “They never going to host Saturday Night Live. And I don’t mean — that’s not even me, but that’s what happened to me over there. They never treated me well. There were people that treated me beautifully, like Will Ferrell and Colin Quinn and Molly Shannon— I love them. But Cheri O’teri and Chris Kattan — I never cared for them either. F— ‘em.”

Wow. I don’t know about you, but I definitely want to know what the heck happened behind the scenes.

Note to Self: Do not piss off Tracy Morgan. Hustle Man will curse you out!

I Am the New Black goes on sale Oct. 20.
