When Ciara worked with Jazze Pha, she sold two million albums, earned two number one singles, and notched a couple of top five hits.

When she grinded on Justin Timberlake she scored a brief top ten hit and then, well, go look at Billboard.

Suffice to say, Jazze Pha knows how to craft a hit, and since he’s no longer spending a lot of time with Ciara, it ’s possible he has a few hits left in him to pass off to the winner of BET’s new series, Welcome to Dreamland.

Producers Jazze Pha and Drumma Boy (T.I., Rick Ross, Young Jeezy, Monica) will serve as coaches for an elimination competition where 8 female singers live in the Dreamland house and go through a series of challenges.

The last two remaining finalists will then compete in a final concert performance for a recording contract produced by Jazze Pha and Drumma Boy.

The show premieres on BET on June 2nd at 10:30 P.M./9:30 central.

Why has Jazze not been able to make a hit for anyone since Ciara?

Anon Said on

What happened to Girlicious? Check the Billboard charts. Okay then.

And Cherish. Wasn’t that his group too? Okay then

For the record Goodies was not produced by Jazze.
Neither was Oh. Or Promise. Or Like A Boy. All Top 10 hits without Jazze.

I am going to watch the show but I am upset because I knew nothing of the auditions I would have tried out too. Somebody needs to start a talent search type show for R&B singers like American Idol!! One of you famous bloggers get on that and get in contact with me you wont be disappointed!!!
