Will The Game Return?

Tia Mowry has given her second interview since the cancellation of The Game.
When she spoke with BET.com, she was sincerely overwhelmed by the outpouring of fans from the show and expressed optimism that the show would not end simply because the CW chose to move on without the series on its lineup.
In her interview with TVGuide.com, Tia responds to talk that BET may be interested in picking up the show.
As of now BET is said to be working on hammering out an agreement over licensing fees with CBS Television Studios, which owns the show.
Tia said:
“[BET chairman and CEO] Debra Lee is trying everything and anything to make this happen. The Game gets higher ratings than BET’s original programming, and we’ve heard there would be a huge marketing campaign. So I personally believe the show would be taken to another level.”
As for past talk that the show will take on a dramedy format in future seasons, Tia added, “I could care less if it’s an hour or a comedy as long as we got to have fun and be creative together.”
Tia encourages fans to continue writing CBS Television studios while those behind the “Save The Game” campaign continue to mobilize their efforts via Twitter.

I love the game its all i watch when i’m not home i set my dvr to record and i watch every one from season 1-3 please bet pick it up asap i love pooh hall and tia.

I have loved “The Game” from the very beginning. I remember when it was piloted on “Girlfriends” the first time. I had no idea what the show was about, but I tuned in because it had Tia Mowry (who I loved in Sister Sister) along side some really HOTT guys. I have been in love with the show since the first episode and watching ever since! It’s crazy, but it’s like Melanie is living out my bestfriend’s actual life and all of the other characters are very relateable too. We need the game!!! Save it BET!!! With all of the reality tv shows and other crap on television, it would be a tragedy to not see such an incredibly entertaining show airing!

I think that if BET picks up the game they will get better reviews from the viewers. I’ve been hearing alot of ppl complain about the type of shows they air now and they aren’t always positive…
I love The Game, I have been watching it since it first aired. From the first show I feel in love with each character. I hope BET does get the rights to it, I think it would be a smart move on their part. It would also give the fans a chance to have one of their shows back. SO please cbs give bet a chance to make magic….. To the actors and actresses of the show, good job keep up the good work!

PLEASE DO NOT CANCELLED THE GAME KEEP THIS SHOW ON AIR. I love this show its a great show the ratings are great and if i had my own way i would watch the show everyday, i will be very hurt if the show don’t do a next season its a strong show , i want to know more about Derwin and mel and also to find out that the baby aint Derwins PLEASE ……………. and if i had to choose between shows i will choose the GAME old school is good but i will like to see new. BET you need the Game and the Game needs you and Bet needs to please your viewer i will sure be please to watch the Game. KEEP THIS SHOW ON AIR .

I just recently started watching the show (reruns) and I can’t believe I was missing out on this. This show is so much better than the average sitcom. Why would anybody want to cancel it?
Please save “The Game;”I am really drawn to this show. The actors and actress are very talented. The reality shows cannot compare to a sitcom which presents real life situations and solutions in a way we can relate to; it would be a shame to see such good talent wasted. I hope BET and CBS has review all options in keep it real with “The Game.”
Yes! please save “The Game,” I love this show. It’s one of the few shows that manages to draw its audience with issues that are real to the everyday life of relationships. I can bet that more than one individual who has watched the show has strongly related to the story line of an episode. This show is INTELLIGENT, FUNNY, ENTERTAINING and RELATIVE. The CW has a different vision and direction as to what the adult, passionate viewer has in mind. They made another huge mistake when they almost decided to eliminate “One Tree Hill.” Whoever this person is that is making the decisions to cancel these shows needs some reevaluation or research to do. BET, please give us back the game. You will not regret it!
