Will The Game Return?

Tia Mowry has given her second interview since the cancellation of The Game.
When she spoke with BET.com, she was sincerely overwhelmed by the outpouring of fans from the show and expressed optimism that the show would not end simply because the CW chose to move on without the series on its lineup.
In her interview with TVGuide.com, Tia responds to talk that BET may be interested in picking up the show.
As of now BET is said to be working on hammering out an agreement over licensing fees with CBS Television Studios, which owns the show.
Tia said:
“[BET chairman and CEO] Debra Lee is trying everything and anything to make this happen. The Game gets higher ratings than BET’s original programming, and we’ve heard there would be a huge marketing campaign. So I personally believe the show would be taken to another level.”
As for past talk that the show will take on a dramedy format in future seasons, Tia added, “I could care less if it’s an hour or a comedy as long as we got to have fun and be creative together.”
Tia encourages fans to continue writing CBS Television studios while those behind the “Save The Game” campaign continue to mobilize their efforts via Twitter.
Now after ya’ll save The Game, can I get ya’ll support in setting up an Out All Night reunion?

Let’s get a REAL show on BET…reality shows are okay…but I know The GAME is a much more realer show than all these new reality shows BET has coming out…The Game is one of the only shows I can really get into! Pick up The Game BET! I promise you, you won’t regret it!!!
I LOVE the Game and I LOVE the cast. PLEASE pick up this show it would bring so much happiness to people all over!! BET needs a ratings boost like this.

BET NEEDS to pick up The Game!! Like Tia said, The Game’s ratings are higher than BET’s original programming… so that only means, BET needs to pick up The Game for all of us (BET & The Game Fans). It’ll be benefiting everybody… and that’s what we want.
Save the Game! It’s one of the only shows that can get a response like this. It has dedicated fans and it would be a mistake not to pick it up!

This show was my favorite show on TV. I am sooo tired of these networks taking off positive entertaining African American TV Shows first Girlfriends, now this. Please put The Game back on TV to show positive African American entertainment!!!!!
The game was the best show on tv right now… nothing tops it!
Save the Game! I make sure I am home at 5PM to watch it everyday!!! My roomies thinnk it’s hilarious but they LOVE it too! Good luck!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this show!! i was so shocked when it was taken off the air because it had such a strong following and i knew so many committed viewers. beautiful cast, great story lines, great acting – what more can you ask for? LONG LIVE THE GAME!!!!!

i love this show. i have been watching it since it first aired. i never missed an episode. i even watch the re runs now on BET even though i know them all like the back of my hand. this IS the best BLACK show on TV right now and it needs to be continued. it’s hard enough that the only portrayals of black actors on TV shows are usually as a sidekick, killer, ghetto fabulous, etc and even then they’re usually on camera for a brief moment. if BET is supposedly concerned with promoting positive black images, then it should pick up this show. the Game is more real to me than any of the reality shows BET has on nowadays. Stop trying to be like MTV and VH1. Start by being innovative, considering there aren’t really any BLACK TV shows, by picking up the Game.
