Will The Game Return?

Tia Mowry has given her second interview since the cancellation of The Game.
When she spoke with BET.com, she was sincerely overwhelmed by the outpouring of fans from the show and expressed optimism that the show would not end simply because the CW chose to move on without the series on its lineup.
In her interview with TVGuide.com, Tia responds to talk that BET may be interested in picking up the show.
As of now BET is said to be working on hammering out an agreement over licensing fees with CBS Television Studios, which owns the show.
Tia said:
“[BET chairman and CEO] Debra Lee is trying everything and anything to make this happen. The Game gets higher ratings than BET’s original programming, and we’ve heard there would be a huge marketing campaign. So I personally believe the show would be taken to another level.”
As for past talk that the show will take on a dramedy format in future seasons, Tia added, “I could care less if it’s an hour or a comedy as long as we got to have fun and be creative together.”
Tia encourages fans to continue writing CBS Television studios while those behind the “Save The Game” campaign continue to mobilize their efforts via Twitter.

I’ve watched The Game since it first aired, and have been a loyal fan ever since. I would love it if another network picked up the show because it really is great!

The Game is an AMAZING show! Hopefully the licensing agreement will get ironed out very soon between CBS and BET!

I’d love to see an out all night reunion lol but honestly I love the game and would actually watch bet if it was brought back! Such a great cast with a great story.. Can’t go wrong! Don’t mess this up lee!

Yes Please pick up the show I love that show from first episode on CW. That was the only time I even watched the CW. I got mad when they change the day, then they tried to change the station channel to try to make me miss it but I swa every episode thank God for DVR’s. It was just getting juice and please don’t take too long between seasons. I love this show….

BET really needs to pick up the game… Its one of the greatest show we have… I loved the season finale… I just feel like it’s sooo much more they can do with the show…… I still have FAITH … that there will be another seaon of the game
PLEASE PICK UP the game… It’s crazy that we as the fans have to go through all this for a network to pick up the game considering the fact that it’s such a GREAT show… But at the end of they day Im willing to do whatever it take to get my favorite show back on AIR…. & its quite obvious alot of the other game fans agree with me

First I would like to say that the show the Game is funny and entertaining. Secondly with all the feed back and attention put forth for this show on would assume that picking it up would not be a problem. I dont understand that if a show is successful than why would it be let go or not picked up quickly. Thinking about the profit aspect I think the game is more enjoyable than some of the programs currently present on BET and would bring more profit to BET. Wish the best of luck hope to continueto enjoy the show in the futue
Man I hope they get the rights to the show!! This is the only show that I hav actually followed beginning to end!! When CW cancelled it I stopped watchin that channel all together!!! Please CBS, Sign over the rights. Don’t be Selfish!!
i love the game. i watch the reruns a lot and its awesome. so many ppl love this show im amazed it was even cancelled and i really hope BET picks it up.
