Will The Game Return?

Tia Mowry has given her second interview since the cancellation of The Game.
When she spoke with BET.com, she was sincerely overwhelmed by the outpouring of fans from the show and expressed optimism that the show would not end simply because the CW chose to move on without the series on its lineup.
In her interview with TVGuide.com, Tia responds to talk that BET may be interested in picking up the show.
As of now BET is said to be working on hammering out an agreement over licensing fees with CBS Television Studios, which owns the show.
Tia said:
“[BET chairman and CEO] Debra Lee is trying everything and anything to make this happen. The Game gets higher ratings than BET’s original programming, and we’ve heard there would be a huge marketing campaign. So I personally believe the show would be taken to another level.”
As for past talk that the show will take on a dramedy format in future seasons, Tia added, “I could care less if it’s an hour or a comedy as long as we got to have fun and be creative together.”
Tia encourages fans to continue writing CBS Television studios while those behind the “Save The Game” campaign continue to mobilize their efforts via Twitter.

I love the show and I really hope that BET pick it up. This is a great show and must continue. We don’t have any more good shows like this and I think we need to focus on that. Reality T.V. is not where it’s at. Please keep the show…

I would love to see bet pick up the game it was a great show and i rather see the game on bet insted of tiny and toya!!! and maybe bet could pick housewifes of Atl also.
If BET picks up “The Game” (only the best sitcom after “The Cosby Show” and “The Fresh Prince”) I’ll allow myself to watch BET again. “The Game” is the only way they’ll (BET) ever get their educated black audience’s attention. I’m not saying that all educated black people watch “The Game,” just saying BET often helps spread ignorance hence, the “ban” on the channel that has continually sold us out.

THE GAME is THE BEST show out there! too many stories left untold if it all ends now. we wanna see Tashe and Foxee back together, we wanna see how the Merwin melodrama unfolds now that the baby is here. We wanna see if Kelly will ever forgive tasha for hookin Jason up with Camille and If jason and Camille will stay together. Too many of us love this show for it to end where it left off…to infinity and beyond!! we love the game
Please keep The Game on the air. We have nothing else like it, and it’s extremely important that we are represented in sitcoms. It makes me sad to think that talented black writers and actors can’t have the opportunities they deserve. BET, please be our saving grace.
