Will The Game Return?

Tia Mowry has given her second interview since the cancellation of The Game.
When she spoke with BET.com, she was sincerely overwhelmed by the outpouring of fans from the show and expressed optimism that the show would not end simply because the CW chose to move on without the series on its lineup.
In her interview with TVGuide.com, Tia responds to talk that BET may be interested in picking up the show.
As of now BET is said to be working on hammering out an agreement over licensing fees with CBS Television Studios, which owns the show.
Tia said:
“[BET chairman and CEO] Debra Lee is trying everything and anything to make this happen. The Game gets higher ratings than BET’s original programming, and we’ve heard there would be a huge marketing campaign. So I personally believe the show would be taken to another level.”
As for past talk that the show will take on a dramedy format in future seasons, Tia added, “I could care less if it’s an hour or a comedy as long as we got to have fun and be creative together.”
Tia encourages fans to continue writing CBS Television studios while those behind the “Save The Game” campaign continue to mobilize their efforts via Twitter.

This is the best news I’ve heard in weeks. The Game is my absolute favorite show and I’ve been so disappointed knowing that the fall season will arrive and I won’t have my show! Then with the passing of Michael, it’s just been too much– I’m totally serious! So I am so glad I came across this news today. It’s been my bright spot. Debra Lee, keep on moving and shaking and pick up this fabulous show!!!!!!

Please bring The Game Season 4 on BET. By the way I am so glad that you guys recasted Derwin and Kelly’s characters. I think Pooch Hall has more of a television presence, a slight irresitable goofiness with a good mixture of humor. The original kelly was an older lady and Brittany Daniels is younger, fiestier and does well with Tasha Mack’s character. Lets do this for us. Mara Brock Akil, the creator is only one of two Black woman who has created two television show within the same season, The Game and Girlfriends. It is unfair what CBS (CW) did to The Game. They intentionally placed the show in the 8:30pm Friday spot, knowingly that is not considered primetime for the shows target audience. Most people are out or ready to relax on a Friday evening to start off their weekend. Hopefully when the show does premiere on BET, the original cast, writers, producers will still contribute to keep the show great. Lets SAVE THE GAME!!!! How do you contact CBS to release the rights of the Game to BET I love this show it is the greatest I have been on twitter TBS tryn to save the show so it is up to CBS BET wants to pick the show up.
