Evicting Isaiah…

According to published reports, Isaiah Washington is on the verge of being evicted from his Santa Monica, California home. USA Today says:
“Isaiah Washington’s landlord has started an eviction procedure against the former Grey’s Anatomy star, claiming he owes $100,000 in rent.
Documents filed in Santa Monica, Calif., on Tuesday claim that Washington and his wife have fallen behind on their $20,000 a month payments on a home in the Venice area of Los Angeles.
The complaint filed by Sandalwood Properties states the Washingtons have not paid rent since November.
A phone message left with Washington’s agent was not immediately returned.”
Poor Isaiah. He is in the upcoming film Hurricane Season, which stars Forest Whitaker and Taraji P. Henson. Nonetheless, I can imagine the man who is known for using an anti-gay slur on the set of Grey’s Anatomy and at the 2007 Golden Globes, might still be experiencing some backlash. The gays don’t play in Hollywood…
Still, wouldn’t it have been good to downgrade from the $20,000 a month apartment? It’s been nearly two years since his character ended on Grey’s Anatomy. Couldn’t he have found a cute villa for a cool $5,000 a month?

wow thats sad to here about i dont watch greys anotomy since they to my boy off wow
Good Morning! Wow $100,000.00 That’s alot money for a house in california..
Yeah $100,000.00 yeah that’s alot of money..
prime example of why people SHOULD ACT THEIR WAGES!!! it’s a shame but people should think before they act. i know good well i would have thought before i bought a home that cost that much. but some people only think of the NOW and not the furture. maybe he thought he would have that Grey’s job until the show went off the air, and he would be able to afford his home. but once something major happens, like the lost of a job, you have to change your life style, including saying goodbye to a overly expansive home. the man has other homes, so he’s good.
he just better pay that 100,000.00 bill first
It’s sad….but Isaiah is not making that grey’s anatomy $ anymore….hopefully he can get back on his feet.
I agree…he was obviously living beyond his means. I wish him all the best. He is a talented actor who made a bad decision. I pray he lands on his feet.
Bless his heart. Hollywood is a beast….
Are you kidding me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That’s just plain peer pressure and star glam. All because you’re a star, you don’t have to live like one. He should of took better care of his finances. Do I feel for him—–hell no. Don’t get me wrong I don’t want to see no one living in the street, but $20,000 a month that’s insane. Buy real estate brotha you wouldn’t be evicted—-you got to be joking!!!!!! Celebs you gotta love them.
