Exclusive | ‘The Princess and the Frog’ Movie Poster

Disney’s first Black princess, Tiana, is hitting theaters in December in The Princess and the Frog. Disney provided BET.com with an exclusive image of the movie poster.
The voice of Tiana is Tony winner and Dreamgirls star Anika Noni Rose. Other voices include Jenifer Lewis, Keith David and Oprah Winfrey as the princess’ mother. As I’ve said before, I haven’t looked forward to a Disney film in years so be sure to check back here at BET.com for more info on the movie.
The Princess and the Frog begins exclusively at the Walt Disney Studios Theater in Burbank and Ziegfeld Theater in New York City on November 25th and arrives in theaters nationwide on December 11th.

Im so excited!!! I have been a Disney Fan all my life at 26 I still make sure I get to see all the newest Disney movies. Ever since I was little I’ve been waiting for a African American Princess. Disney you made a lot of little girls and big girls dreams come true! My husband and I have already planned to go see it and Im buying it as soon as it comes out, that way when I have a daughter she has this movie in her collection! KUDOS DISNEY!!

Why does the damn frog look like the one off the WB network from way back? I’m worried……..
I can now bring my grand-daughter to a film that reflects her image. Disney does not have a good history in the making of quality black films; and it’s founder the late Walt Disney is the blame for that. It’s About Time !

It’s been about time, Disney. I can not wait to see this movie. From the movie commercial clips, it’s funny already. I love it. I’m going to take my son to see it.
