I say good for her. But why is it that any time someone from DC is mentioned they have to be compared to Beyonce…Come on they individuals doing they own things..For the record I think the reason she is not performing at the BET awards doesn’t have anything to do with Matthew and B but more about the last time she performed…anybody remember that..straight up her Torn song sounded horrible..i like her but she ain’t really a live performer…..all you got to do is go back to that years awards and watch her performance and there is your reason why she isn’t performing.

It’s not is Letoya can act better than Beyonce, it’s if BET and other medias will give Letoya as much publicity as they do Beyonce. Why does everything have to be compare to her? YES, YES, YES she most definitely can act better than beyonce any day every one knows beyonce is no true actress. Letoya is more talented hands down. If only you are blind and can’t hear beyonce is all digital. Please don’t compare real talent like Letoya’s to some cheap, bootlegg singer,actress like beyonce. BET please!!! Hello….she was acting long before Beyonce was!!! She was on family matters or am I the only who remembers that. Beyonce can’t act! She’s Beyonce trying to play the roll of this character or that character. She gets roles because she’s pretty and that’s that.

I don’t understand why there always has to be a comparison. Beyonce isn’t the end all that beat all.

I have a problem with this blog altogether. Why must Letoya be compared to Beyonce. This is the number 1 problem with Black Americans and why we can not grow as a race. Its too much competition out there. Everything has to be who is better than who and all of this jealousy and bickering has to end. If Brittney Spears start doing movies, you will never hear her white counterparts asking will she be better than Lindsay Lohan or Mandy Moore or whoever. Black people need to be concerned about why black women is not even considered for movie roles nearly as much as any other race. And the fact that only MAYBE 5 black women are remotely succeeding in the movie business should be the REAL QUESTION. Not about this BS that the MEDIA keeps bringing up time and time again with LeToya Luckett and Beyonce. All this is doing is forcing people to take sides with the two women. Why they both can’t be great actresses and successful?

The reasson why letoya is being compared to beyonce is because white america only promotes beyonce as she has done some things to make her self more appealing to white america for example dying her blond even tho it looks more yelllow. And is she the only black woman who wears blond hair? I don’t think so. If you don’t want to watch Beyonce in a movie because you think she sucks in that role, say that, don’t pick useless details about her that can be related to hundreds of thousands black women. LeToya has not been in 1 movie and people are saying already she is a better actress than Beyonce.
