I don’t think that Twilight should have been nominated for the best picture. The hype of the whole Twilight series has just been too much, and I think that people should just chill out about it. But, on a good note, the fact that Andy Samberg is hosting the event makes it much more watchable. His performance in Hot Rod, on SNL, and with The Lonely Island have made him a great comedian. I think that this years movie awards will be a good one.

I disagree! I think Twilight deserves every nomination and deserves to win best picture. I definitely think it will be one of the biggest award snagger this year as you said it had a huge hype, one that I think was not too much. Just another marketing scheme. But yes Andy Samberg is hosting this year, a great decision on MTVs part because this guys is hilarious. I especially like his work with the Lonely Island! This year is going to be a great year for the MTV movie awards, and it is about time.
