Robin Givens Owes $292k to IRS

Mike Tyson’s ex-wife, Robin Givens, is the latest Hollywood star to be in financial distress with the IRS. According to Forbes.com her debt goes back to 1996:
According to the government lawsuit, Givens failed to pay $222,000 in federal taxes. The other $70,000 the government is demanding consists of interest and assorted penalties, including for failure to pay, underpayment of estimated tax and late filing. The pleading does not state what her total income or tax was for the years in question, nor the extent of any partial tax payments.
Givens is no stranger to trouble involving taxes. Public records show numerous state and federal tax liens against her over the years in New York, Florida and California. Many of the federal liens may be part of the new lawsuit against her. In some cases, the liens, which are claims to proceeds from real estate and other assets in the event of a sale, have been released, suggesting payments were made.
I guess this officially debunks the myth that Givens cashed-in when she divorced Mike Tyson. Recently, Givens appeared on Oprah to discuss domestic violence after the Chris Brown and Rihanna situation. We wish her the best of luck.

I agree with Anon… she got PAID from Iron Mike… she and her momma if my memory serves me correctly… she just didnt pay the IRS… so I’m wondering why am I????
Ya I think she was really using him for his money. And she was so blind by al that money she forgot she was a regular person like the rest of us and that comes with major responsibility and financial knowledge duh
Instead of talking bad about Chris because he is young, she should have been paying her bill and now the world know she is nothing but a poor fool.Pay YOUR TAXES and LEAVE Chris alone.
