Taraji and Viola cover Ebony

Taraji P. Henson and Viola Davis are gracing the cover of Ebony Magazine for the May 2009 edition. The two look amazing and it’s beautiful to see two Black actresses who are obviously happy they both achieved huge success this year. Both Henson and Davis received Oscar nominations this year for best supporting actress. Here is an excerpt from Ebony:
In an exclusive photo shoot for Ebony magazine’s May issue, Davis and Henson candidly talk about the challenges that continue to face Black actresses in Hollywood. “Black directors really don’t offer me movies,” says Davis, who takes no offense to this. “Most of the work I do is really in predominantly White films. That’s just how it works.”
That is awful to hear. There aren’t many Black directors in Hollywood so which ones are turning down Viola Davis? This issue of Ebony is on newstands Thursday, April 14th.
Crossing my fingers that this is Playboy magazine with an Ebony cover.-oh yeah, that was ment for 18 yrs. and older.
I have yet read that issue of Ebony, but always wondered even today why Hollywood is still so afraid of taking risks when it comes to women of color. It a shame and Halle Berry who once mentioned during her speech when she won for Best Actress in a Leading Role that glass ceiling has finally been broken for all those who came before her. She was so hopeful than. I wonder what she thinks now since that time has past. There are so many movies that women of color could have done convincingly.
Can i say WOWOWEE cuties lookin fine an sexy. Sweet to see BEAUTIFUL young gorgeous Ladies. I wish i had one, a lady like that.. Give thanks to the LORD for havin very nice peoples to see in LIFE. Romans 10:1….Peace an Love 2 all……

Taraji looks very nice on the cover of Ebony. She is an excellent and talented actress. I don’t know Viola Davis but have seen pictures of her. In my opinion Ms. Davis is not a very attractive woman, they put way too much make-up on her. She is a dark complexion lady of color, she is almost Taraji complexion. When I saw the cover of Ebony in the grocery store I couldn’t believe it. What make-up can do for some folks.
