So disappointed that of the choice in director. Tyler is great for what he does, but For Colored Girls deserves so much more.

Spike Lee…because he is a more “conscious” director and writer. I don’t doubt brother Tyler however Spike Lee would seem more ideal.

I don’t see this turning out well. I saw the play just last year and it is very complicated and has so many layers. I don’t feel he’s the best choice for this production. Maybe this is the film he’s been waiting for to really branch out, I don’t know. We shall see.

I know that Tyler will do this play justice. Tyler is do gifted and led by God, so what he touches will be a success. When people have the blessings of God, they are already a sussess. I look forward to seeing what he will do with the movie. I know God will give him the words and story line to say to reach the many girls that need to see this play as a movie. The bood was great, so I know the movie will be just as good.
Congradulations to you Mr. Perry.
