Who else wants the Wanda and Sheneneh movie?

Hands down — one of the funniest moments of Sunday night’s BET Awards was to see the return of Wanda and the legendary Sheneneh Jenkins. Haven’t we all been waiting for over a decade to see these two divas on screen?
In case you don’t know, Wanda’s classic lines like “No, you didn’t,” her overly confident attitude and cockeyed look were huge in the nineties. Then, there was the iconic Sheneneh Jenkins. She was considered another character of the popular television series Martin. Sheneneh was an independent woman, owned her own hair salon (Sho’ Nuff Hair Salon) and kept Pam and Gina in their place. Honestly, Sheneneh could’ve had her own television series and it would’ve been a hit!
Well, I know it was just a skit but someone needs to start an online petition for Jamie Foxx and Martin Lawrence to pull a script together and get this movie green lit as soon as possible. I see a cross between B.A.P.S. and Beauty Shop — with a lil’ Set It Off. Hey, if Tyler Perry can do it — why not Foxx and Lawrence? I know it would be a hit considering all the people who texted me asking, “When is that Sheneneh and Wanda movie coming out?” Come on Jamie and Martin — the people want it!

20 yrs or so ago, I wrote a script for a sitcom for Wanda and Shenana and tried to submit it to Martin Lawrence Productions. I can really myself in the butt for not following it through, now someone else has beat me it. Its a WONDERFUL project and I believe would be VERY funny and well received!! Bravo Martin and Jamie!!
if Skank Robbers is made into a movie it will sell out for weeks especially anyone who grew up watching inliving color and Martin. Lmao already jamie and Martin i hope yall take it there

This was one of my favorite moments of the award show. It did a good job to lighten the mood of the mouring of M.J. If there is a movie made and some one actually involved in that project reads this, please try to get Jim Carrey’s character from In Living Color in it. Not sure of the character’s name he played. Carrey might not go for it, but its worth a shot.

Anything to do with my baby, Jamie, I’m all for. I know this movie (if) is going to be hilarious. I was always a huge fan of Wanda & Shennanah, so hopefully this movie gets made, maybe they can add Berneice Jenkins (Rickey Smiley) & Madea, you know she packs heat anyway,,,and really set it off!

I’ve been waiting for this for a really long time now. Boy, I’m sure it’ll be funny but, we need to figure Madea in here somewhere…find out she’s there long lost granny!
