Tomorrow, Tyler Perry’s latest film, “Why Did I Get Married,” hits theaters. We continue our series profiling celebrity couples to find out why you think they got together in the first place.

Troublespot: This union was full of controversy from the start. The two abruptly canceled their lavish Hamptons wedding only to exchange vows in the office of Usher’s lawyer a week later. Although the cause of cancellation was a pregnancy scare, many wondered if the Grammy Award winning artist was simply coming to his senses because of rumors of arguments involving everything from the wedding plans to the fact that Usher’s mother, Jonetta Patton, didn’t approve of Foster. Although Usher is nine years junior to Foster (he’s 28, she’s 37), we don’t think the entertainer is looking for a mother figure; his relationship with his mother/manager is very strong.
Although their union has had a rocky beginning and Ms. Patton isn’t neccessarily feeling her daughter-in-law, can these two survive?

Hay yall that is reading this and hay to usher and his new wife what iwant to know is what the hel happen to chilli and why r u dateing older women if that is what makes u happy then iwould do for it.but if ur not happy then u need to let it go. if u just married her because she is having ur baby then that is not love ur just in in for the child u dony love her.

I like Usher and he should be happy even with a older woman.Men do it all the time date and marry younger women and we seem to not find a problem in that.My husband is 13 years older than me.I love him just the same as when meet ten years ago.Love has no age to.Let Usher be happy.
