Rihanna, A Little Too Risque?

So if you haven’t already heard about Rihanna’s GQ spread, where she, em, spreads ‘em, here’s a peak. The fly hair aside (and it is fly), we can’t help but think that this good girl gone bad has gone too far. Is it us, or is she thisclose to skankville in these shots. If we’re making too much out of this, let us know. Talk back to us BB fam!
She really has gone to far… what kind of role model will she be… I mean she said she wanted to be a voice for the young girls who had went through domestic abuse. Yet since her 20/20 interview her stories have changed and some of the interviews don’t reflect on her being a role model. Maybe Galmour Magazine was way off giving her one of the women of the year edition and for what? I haven’t heard her speaking out at schools or any events I don’t condone abuse but, I feel as though she is using this incident to promote her cd and career.
I do agree this is over the top and I’m somewhat surprised. However, I am not completely surprised because Rihanna has always held a sex appeal over her audience. Even with the close on many celebrities bring on the sexy in a questionable way. On the contrary, I would love for her to keep a good girl image also, because she can keep it and still entertain her audience and bring in the money while keeping it. The last image isn’t really to bad and for some odd reason the cover spread isn’t either, but the middle is, to me, the worst because it’s so suggesting. That would be the hardest on to explain to a little child for me.

First of all let me say this loud and clear. .stop hating on rihanna. no she has not gone too far. .i mean r u serious ppl? were always trying to point out the flaws in Others. one min shes hot @*@? and the next shes gone too far? give me a break. yeah she said she wanted to be a good role model but she didnt say she was going to ignore her own intersts and needs just to make everyone else happy. rihanna is different and unique which is why she is already so successful..and as far as her new pics? i think theyre hot. shes a grown women and can do what she pleases. I dont think shes using her abuse incident to boost record sells. she doesnt need to. .but even if she was. .oh well! considering what happened, we should be glad that shes making the most it rather than giving up like a lot of females would. . we should be congratulating her rather than targeting her. .
It’s too late for her, she’s already type casted as ‘The Victim’ any portrayal outside of that in American pop culture will not be accepted for the next few years and she hasn’t accepted that yet. She has 2 choices, lay low or ride the victim /role model wave for a while. All this risque stuff is turning people off.
Role model? Since when? I saw these pics (even worse ones) about 6 months ago. When it looks like a ~$ and act like a HO–it’s a ~$!

And for the dumba** person that said people are out here doing worse things…well other people out here aren’t talking about being a role model for young girls…yes its GQ magazine which is on racks at all stores where young girls can see them… Obviously you don’t have kids!! I sure wouldn’t my ten year old daughter to think its ok to pose that way for a magazine….and for someone thats suppsoed to be a role model all we ever see of her is her being drunk or half naked…”WHAT A ROLE MODEL”!
I loved Ri Ri’s GQ photos,it was totally sexy. You sisters really need to get a life. You all are so hateful and negative. If it was a white chick on the cover looking totally sexy then you crabs wouldn’t have nothing to say. I see why some nice brothers choose to date outside of their race. If you don’t like those type of photos then don’t buy the magazine. As far as role model goes,why don’t you try being a role model to your kids. Ri Ri is a totally gorgeous young lady. Don’t hate,appreciate. Rihanna is a entertainer,it is called show biz.
