NARS launched its new line “Tropical Beauty” just in time for the summer. Known for its rich, highly pigmented colors, NARS’ makeup has always looked great on brown skin bellas. And this time there’s no exception. Just take a look at actress Malika Haqq modeling the line for celebrity makeup artist and photographer Troy Jensen. Troy applied the following from the collection to give Malika a special touch of the tropics. All makeup available at Sephora.com.

During fashion week there are plenty of makeup looks to heart. Some I can’t wait to try or see on our favorite celebs. Witness the look at Christian Dior’s Spring 2009 collections, for example. Then there are others, like the looks featured at Barbie’s 50th Celebration during the Fall 2009 shows, that you know are strictly for show, photographs and not, I repeat, not for every day looks.
But somehow that message has been lost on little Knowles who is trying–and in more and more cases–succeeding to carve out her own distinct look from older sister B. With black ringlet curls and a hint of color on eyes, she stands pretty.
But lately, she’s morphed into a cosmic cosmetic conundrum, looking more like she had a co-starring role in Star Trek, rather than Zoe Saldana. Here she is earlier this year with a one-inch swipe of eye color…
Then with half-an-inch swipe of alien shadow….
What do you think? Is she trying too hard? Do you love it or hate it?
The goods: Will Smith's ex-wife, Sheree Fletcher, created this white honey, shea butter must-have body cream that really does whoop that ash!
Why you'll crave it: It'll moisturize very dry skin all day long, no reapplication need. Trust, you want to stack up on this one.
