Love ‘em or hate ‘em, leggings - those stretchy, skintight stand-ins for pants - refuse to die. Cotton, liquid, print, neon, stripped, rubber, denim …
We’ve seen it all.
Leggings have become as important to a girl’s wardrobe as her favorite pair of jeans. It’s like leggings achieved some sort of cult status or something.
And, sadly, due to their rising popularity, new variations on the slippery and sleek look will most likely be introduced in the year ahead. Sigh. I’m so not looking forward to that.
How ’bout you? Which trend do you wish would vanish in ‘09?

I think leggins look great & they go with mostly anything & I think they are here to stay & shouldn’t go anywhere. Megan looks great in them. To the writer are you jealous or do you need some fashion tips? It seems to me you do.
I think she’s wearing leggings too much! Almost on every red carpet picture I seen of her she has on leggings! Pretty girl but she needs a new wardrobe asap!
I like leggings, I think they are comfortable and stylish. I have recently added them to my wardrobe & I don’t plan on getting rid of them. I did’nt like them at first, I don’t really follow trends. NOw that I have some, I love them! However I do agree with Kenyhatta though, they are not for everyone. If you are overweight, or have struggles with cellulite, baby girl you are beautiful but you need to find something more flattering.
