Dressing for the Holidays

Quick Style Tips:
Bring out the sparkle and shine in your wardrobe. Think “old Hollywood” when dressing for the holidays. Bring back old time elegance, but be sure to choose dresses that accentuate your figure.
Now is the time to bring out your fur stoles or little short jackets too.
Sequined or satin tops or satin dresses are also perfect for holiday dressing, but you never want to go overboard. What to remember when wearing a bold piece is to accent it with a basic.
Let the jewels or the shoes sparkle. Don’t be afraid to call attention to your wrist or your feet.
For the hair, go bolder than your usual look. Try tight spiral curls or a roller set.
What NOT to Wear:
Wearing too much glitz is just too much. Beading, metallic and shimmer are all fine for the holidays, but take it easy.
Also, showing too much skin. Thigh-high minis or cut-to-the-naval dresses are a no-no. Your extended family is not interested in seeing your goodies at the dinner table. Accentuate your best features with a suggestion, like a lace trimmed camisole under a V-neck hints at great cleavage.
And if all else fails… wear a little black dress. Just remember, no white bra!
Beauty Tip: Go for bolder than your usual look. Two looks hot right now: The smokey or shimmery eye and red lips. The thing to remember is if you go for more makeup on the eye, go for a more natural shade for your lips and vice versa. And don’t forget your cheekbones.
