Her dress was gorgeous and they both looked amazing and she can dress……..

I THINK IT WAS SIMPLE AND NICE… SURELY A LADIES DRESS. ESPECIALLY FOR THE 1ST LADY… I DON’T THINK A 1ST LADY SHOULD BE WEARING SOMETHING THAT IS PROVOCATIVE… I THINK SHE PRESENTED HERSELF VERY WELL… BEAUTIFUL, AS A REAL LADY SHOULD… BEST WISHES TO THE OBAMA FAMILY.

Her dress was a good coice for her, I think it was a little duller than expected. But a wise and beautiful choice none the less, remember while she is still our sister she is the nation’s/world’s First Lady and the political arena is just waiting with baited breath for a reason to try and burn them along with certain media entities who aren’t to fond of the Obama’s. I am sure we will see more fashion forward style from her. And let’s not forget that lately the in thing is the random style of each person and that was her night. I am sure some days we get dressed for events and look at ourselves in the mirror and say wow this is a classic look, and everyone else is thinking or saying “Why didn’t you dress it up?” and when we look at the picture months or years later we say to ourselves ” I really liked that outfit, I wonder where it is”, as apposed to the ever so common thought/phrase “What was I thinking?”.

Her dress was nice, but I thought she could’ve gone with something more WOW instead of YAWN you know? He dress was pretty , but a bit boring as well. (no I’m not “player hating”)

I think the 1st lady’s dress was ok. It kinda made her look like she was tryin to fit in wit the young crowd. Don’t get me wrong she was still beautiful, but i do beleive she could have found something a lil more up to par.

I think that her dress looked incredible.. I mean some may think that she should’ve went all out, but i think simple is good.. The woman didn’t need to look like a hoochie or anything (she looked how she was suppose to classy and sophisticated).. The dress she had on looked very expensive.. I would wear it.. I think that michelle chose the perfect dress.. She just look so natural i mean look at how old she is i mean she done good to be her age…

She went with a young upcoming designer on a very important night. “The Most Important Night In History” . What does that say to us about our First Lady????? What Message did she send to ALL Women????? Answer these two questions. I already have……. Flattering, Beautiful, Elegant, Gorgeous, Sexy, Smart, and Stylish.

I think that she made a good choice…an elegant dress, that flattered her in the right places. Although it wasn’t the WOW factor that some wanted or expected…she did what was right not to take away from what the day was truly about. She looked beautiful.

She looks horrible. She cant work this dress what so ever.This dress is proably the worst dress I’ve ever seen.Pick another dress that you think you can work, Michelle.

Yes I am proud of the first lady,but this is only about CLOTHES people. Everyone has different tastes. All the TV stations are talking about it. That is what they do with the first lady(black white or indifferent). It has nothing to do with whether or not we support her/them. It isn’t that serious. Sheesh!

Back to the topic at hand. I think Michelle is a very reserved,refined type of lady. I respect that! The day dress was nice,but the gown IMO wasn’t the best fit for her body type(broad shoulders) and as another poster said above her posture needs a little improvement. Other than that,she’s a very classy looking lady.

At first I thought the dress was beautiful. However, upon really looking at it, I concluded it was not a good choice. It looked like toliet paper was hanging off of it. I think Michelle could have done better. A brighter color would have been great for her skin tone. Her first outfit was daring (however, I didn’t like that one either), but the gown was not up to par. The designer, Jason Wu, should feel pretty bad concerning this is what he came up with for our First Lady.

Mrs. Obama is a beautiful woman I feel that the gown made her look too fat around the hip. She is a tall slender woman and need to show it. She could have mad a better choice with the gown. Hopefully she and her deigner will improve in choices.

I loved her gown. It was classy and sexy for a mother and a first lady. If you look back at the other first ladies gowns you will see Michelle was hot. I was out that night and it was a table of brothers next to me and my friends. When they showed Michelle on tv in that gown all them fool was like DAM. I think she was a hit

That dress was beautiful and it was her style. She’s classy and so was her gown. her stature and the way she carries her self say’s it all. She could have worn a potatoe sack and nothing could have taken away that very historical day. That event was about more than her dress! Some people are just negative and have nothing postive to say. The night spoke for itself regardless of all the celebrities and what people were wearing. God Bless our President and very classy first Lady Michelle and their family.
