this dress looks a mess and the first ladie shoudn’t have this horrible dress on, and who ever is the designer need to think twice next time around

I thought the dress would’ve looked better if her posture would’ve held it up better. The dress itself could,ve been more detailed because of that special night, but Mrs. Obama pulled it off. SHOUT OUT 2 BARACK and MICHELLE.

People, People , People she is the first lady not Beyonce. She wore a dress fitting of her position. We as black women should take her lead if you want to lead a succesful life and be respected you have to carry your self that way and that is exactly what she did.

My opinion! The dress looked great, but I think the one strap on the dress made the dress look underexpensive, like she bought it at JC Penney!

Michelle’s dress was absolutely perfect. People need to just stop hating. She’s the first lady. She can wear whatever she chooses to wear just like all the other first lady. The difference with her is that she can wear anything because of her physical stature. Michelle’s style puts me in the mind of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. They both have a style of their own. She’s not overly flamboyant, but she is incredibly stylish and elegant…so there!

The ball was Beautiful! It looked like it would have been easy to step on the hem, though. Her choice for the day might have been more appropriate if she had worn the brown suit to the Inaugural events. The gold, beautifully glittering outfit may have been a choice for the concert!

i personally think dat dress was a hot mess. but i love her n her hussy. i love d fact dat she isn’t into flashy n material things dat tells u dat atleast they won’t b stealing pax payers money 2 live d luxurious life.

i thought the dress was etheral but her posture did seem off, it may have been because she’s tall but with such a long dress she had to wear heels and didn’t want to be taller than her husband, she still looked beautiful i love michelle she’s my shero

You know. . .No matter what she wore, people are going to criticize because she is apart of this historical moment that some people still can’t accept. This gown was too boring?! If she would have wore a dress that was too sexy, the media still would have sacrificed her. She can’t win!! Racism is still here people. Its disguised as mainstream news. We as black people can’t see the lime light unless we’re entertaining society as athletes or singers. As soon as we start taking over another set, such as politics, its not accepted. We can’t be smart. We can’t be classy. We can’t be elegant. Well, I got news for them: The Obamas are going no where. I guess I am so angry because I live and work in a small town whose views are so biased. I know the whole nation isn’t like this, but I just had to put my feelings about the situation out there somewhere. Congrats to the First Family.

I LUV THE OBAMAS BUT PERSONALLY I THINK SHE SHOULDA WORE A DIFFERENT DRESS. THAT PART ACROSS THE CHEST MADE HER BOOBS LOOK SUPER FLAT AND THAT 1 SHOULDER STRAP PLAYED OUT YEARS AGO. I LIKED THE DETAIL ON THE DRESS AND THE FLOWINESS OF THE MATERIAL. BUT IT KINDA BORED ME…

I didn’t like the dress. Wrong color and it is kind of ugly. It might of been expensive but it really looks kind of cheap.

The dress would have been ok if it were not for this particular affair. Perhaps for another simpler, less grand event. It simply did nothing for her. I think it would have looked better if it had two shoulder straps regardless of the occasion. And I think her hair should have been up. The look just needed a little umph. However, the other outfits she wore during the inaguration was on the money. But I think i would have dressed her in a Classic Chanel suit and a pair of slamming Jimmy Choo pumps for the swearing in ceremony. And I think I would have had on a heavier coat. But she is from chicago and maybe the special lining in coats were enough. Oh well you still looked liked The First Lady and more power to ya!!

I think Michele chose what she thought wasnt to catchy but rather simple, comfortable but classy for what SHE like. Why are everyone putting such an emphasis on what she wear anyway. Michele is a very firm strong willed smart woman and I know she will not allow everyone to put on her what they want to see her in. Just leave her alone because whatever she decides to wear TRUST it will be decent and presentable to her and her husband.

Ok people lets not call the race card. Everyone has there opinion. The dress was just awful. It did look ike paper puffs and it did absolutely nothing for her figure. Her posture was awful and she looked pregnant. Even the president had a hard time dancing trying to keep from stepping on the dress and she looked uncomfortable fumbling with the train. Wonderful evening but poor choice in the dress.

I Think That Mrs. Mitchelle Should Have Worn A Better Looking Dress Because The One She Had On Looked As If It Was About To Fall Off Of Her .. She Is Too PrettY To Be Wearing Something Like That .. It Seemed As If She Was Trying To Go For A Simple, Yet Elegant Look &. She Barely Passed .. Maybe A Different Look WOuld Have Been Better!..
