Politics considered, I want these, but only so I can say stuff like “I’m wearing my Obama boots today.”

The modest-heeled boot named after President-elect Obama is called the Obama piombo and is described as a “gorgeous rich mottled grey leather high shaft boot with decorative tonal stitching curves along the height of the shaft.” Umm, yea.

It’s also said to have a “snug fitting zipper shaft, leather sole, leather covered heel.”

Yup, I’ve heard it all.

Having words like “rich mottled grey” and “shaft” and “snug” and “zipper” in the same sentence with “Obama” just don’t sit right.

Okay, okay, get your mind out of the gutter … Yes, our new President is very good-looking, very photogenic and is completely committed to his wife, but he is an elected official, so I don’t fantasize (much) about him.

Now, who wants Obama? A-hem, Obama boots that is.

Somebody hold me. Rihanna, who I always have really admired and respected in her fashion choices, wore thong, flip flop boots.

You know, everything looks pretty perfect until you scroll down. And BAM! Ugly.

I’m not a fan of Ugg boots. I’m not a fan of thong flip flops. Combining both is horrific. Are they thongs or are they boots? Thoots? Bongs?

I still can’t believe he will be our new President.

It makes me so excited just to look at him. He’s young, attractive, African American, brilliant, charming, handsome, courageous, eloquent, intelligent, well-mannered, likeable, cool, amazing …

Yup. Nope. Nothing fashionable to say here … Although, those are some immaculate Aasics.

I posted the pic because I miss him. Is anyone else suffering from lack-of-Obama exposure? His news conference today gave me a small fix, and this pic helped.

How seriously does she take this Good Girl Gone Bad thing?

Ri, you’re a nice looking girl with a rock star life. Look like you’re having some fun.

As for her fit, I like bits and pieces. The shoes do wonders for her rock solid legs and the necklace is ridiculously cool. I absolutely love all the giant accessories and jewelry for fall. Not a big fan of the Bluetooth-like earring tho.

Being fashion forward this fall does mean looking back to the styles of the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s … So, Rihanna is right on trend.

Looks like the ‘80s threw up on her, and I like it.

P.S. When will celebs realize that they can keep their privacy without bold-face lies? I don’t know, the longer the charade goes on the more annoying it is. How Jay and Bey handled their relationship was just plain weird and completely turned me off. You can admit you are with someone without telling everyone about the intimate details. OK, I’m done.
